Average College

Thousands of students , overcrowded , Staffs talk in Uriya which is the local language here. Campus is neat and clean hostel are in bad condition. Too many unnecessary restrictions. Nothing here is for free.

Course curriculum is good overall. In first year we learn basics of every department. From 2nd year we start studying only our own department subjects. Labs are good and there is too much to learn from it.

Placements and job opportunities are also average. For CSE students placements are good but for other core branches getting placed on campus is a big thing. Internship are provided to few good brains. Since the number of students here is a lot.

KIITMUN - 1 year entry fee is 1500 rupee. Some events are organised by them like inviting YouTubers. KIIT FEST is a BIG event entry fee for this fest is about 250 and in this event you may see few Bollywood celebrities.

Expensive - 1,75,000 rupee is a lot of money for one semester excluding hostel and mess fee. Hostel fee is also too much. You will have to pay 1000-2000 rupee after each semester. By the way good brains do get scholarship but it is not enough.

If you Get a rank between 1-1000 in KIITEE EXAMINATION you will get 10,000 rupee per month for next 48 months or 4 year. Also if you top the semester exams you will get 10,000 for next 6 months. There is also scholarship available for poor students but they do not give that very easily.

Labs are well equipped. Lab teachers are less educated. We have different building for different labs. Computer labs have average WiFi speed. There are several gyms, swimming pools, basketball ground. And the fees ranges from 50-500 from sport to sports.

In first year you will not be interacting with any seniors you will be treated as you know nothing about the outer world. In 2nd and 3rd year you will find few helpful seniors. Alumni network is not good in KIIT.

Firstly, I appeared in KIITEE examination in April. And then I waited for the counseling and then got my desired branch based on my rank. Here are about 900 students in CSE department so getting a CSE department is easy as compared to other colleges.

Faculties are average and poor. They don't care much about students they have to just complete the syllabus. You have to read mostly by yourself with the help of Google and YouTube. 1st semester students have to appear for biology theory paper.
