Review of a Prestigious College's

Overall it's a very good college. One or two thing might be there but it cannot be counted as a negative remark. There are lots of positive aspects. The hostels are very good. The library is excellent. The teaching quality is good. Classrooms are awesome. The main positive aspect is that our director sir is Mr. Achutya Samanta who is a world wide figure because of his work for the poor and needy students. He is associated with Kalinga Institute of Social Science where thousands of poor students make their career for free.

The course curriculum was very good. We had semester wise exams. We also had mid sems. All total we had 8 semesters and in these 8 semesters we had to cover almost 12 technical subjects. In the last semester we had our project.

KIIT University is famous for its placement and job opportunities. Almost every year all the students get placed. There is a record of 100% placement every year. Our training and placement Dean works very hard to bring the companies. No the university does not provide any kind of internship.

There is the KIIT Fest which is a three day show. First day there will be lots of events including e-gaming, bridge making, nukkad natak, etc. Next day a famous singer will be invited. And the third and final day there is the dj night which the students enjoy the most. Apart from kiit fest we have different department fests where again a lots of events are organized. Then we have racing events organized by juggernaut. Then for Freshers we have a fresher party and for the pass out students we have the convocation day.

KIIT University is a bit expensive college. But no one will regret after attending this college. You get centralized ac in each and every classroom. You get a laptop from the university. U get costly books. U get access to a beautiful library. U get to join different societies. The labs are excellent.

I am sorry but I have no knowledge about the scholarship or loan facility that is offered by our college. Maybe there is a scholarship for the semester toppers in each branch where the toppers fees gets reduced for the upcoming semester. I have never been a branch topper so I have just a little bit of knowledge about this scholarship program

Yes there are lots of groups we can join. We got racing societies where you need to design cars and participate in racing events. U have aeronautical society where you can design aircrafts. Then u got different NGO groups. Then u got nukkad groups. In sports you have lawn tennis, volley ball, basketball, table tennis badminton, cricket, carrom, chess, football, baseball etc. To remain fit you have 5 to 6 gyms and cost is also very cheap. It's pretty amazing.

I have opted for hostel. It's a 3 bedded ac room. We had 3 cupboards. Bed bedsheets pillow balti mug everything was being provided by the hostel. The wardens were cool. We had a study room where all the serious students can go and study sincerely. Only problem was the mess food. Sometimes the food was too good but sometimes it was worst than garbage. Rest everything was awesome.

The senior students are very helpful. Our college is against ragging actions and our seniors fully supported that. They become our friends whenever we need them. They were very helpful and we are also helping our juniors to our best.

Well we had an entrance exam which is known as KIITEE. I got a rank of 11000 and then we had a counselling process where I chose mechanical engineering as my branch. We gave the required tuition fee and then we became the kiitians of this well renowned college KIIT.

Some of faculties are really brilliant. Some of them got the knowledge but they don't know how to explain it to the students. Some faculties are very good as they help the students a lot. One or two faculties are there who are good for nothing. But overall 96% of the teachers are very brilliant.
