KIIT Review

Overall postive remarks. Except the fees which is for me pretty much high. Other than that we have all the facilities and everything which would help us. Nice atmosphere, mostly computer science dominated.

The course curriculum is quite nice. We have a student friendly course. Students can get their time for extra stuffs to learn. Its quite scoring and nice. The exam consits of two exam :- mid semester and end semester. Mid sem being of 20 marks and end sem being of 50 marks. Which makes a total of 70 marks. The rest 30 marks in internal which is awarded according to attendance and performance throughout the semester. The lab exams are of 40 marks and the rest 60 is internal which is again evaluated throughout the year.

The placements are pretty good for the computer engineering branches. About 95% of the batch gets placed every year. There are a lot of great companies who provide us these opportunities. Yes our college helps us to get internship. The stipend depends on the company.

We have freshers party, then various cultural and religious events throughout the year. The we have got talent shows and many things like that. The most grand is out college fest every year. There are a flurry of events occuring every now and then.

The fees is little bit on the expensive side it would be difficult if the family earing is below 7 lakh a year. There are options of education loan and stuffs. Still it is difficult to pay this wholesome amount.

The college guarantees free education for the KITEEE exam topper. Though they usually don't take admission here. The other ways of getting scholarship is to score a top rank SGPA in a semester. If the SGPA is in top three in college then we will get the scholarship.

The labs are very nice , all the updated equipments are there and they are very organised. We will get pretty much everything we need for our job to be done. The other faclilites are also very nice. We have sports Center and various types of sports.

Hostel is excellent. The food is a bit on weaker side. Still it is better than most of the colleges. There are all the facilities available in hostel starting from laundry, water purifier, hot water, clean washrooms, maids cleaning room everyday.

This is my personal opinion. I have not interacted with any, but i have heard that the alumni network is quite robust and they are helping new candidates in having a place in the industry. They also guide the students by various seminars and all. They are there to help us.

The entrance exam form for this college was being filled by me, the form was free of charge. Then I gave the examination after choosing my slot. Then the results were published and I got a rank. Then i was being called for counseling. There I had to choose my branch and then formal process of admission took place.

They are friendly and nice. They would listen to your doubts and would help you in every possible way. You just need to approach them and that's how you learn. They would help you in projects and all and will guide you in it.
