Remarks

The college is decent the faculty is very bad mostly the students study by themselves also the campus is very small and you have no freedom to do anything the main gates are closed after 9:30 pm so you cannot go out at night and even if you want to go the process is very long and the placement are not good as well

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course is given by pune university and it is very old and has not been revised from a long time also the teaching is focused more on mugging up things than pn practical implementations. The exams are conducted SEM wise and and includes one end SEM exam and one insem exam.

Placement Experience

2

No the college does not provide any internship also the placements are decent the average pakage is 4 LPA and no product based companies come in the college the students rae really capable bit the training and placement officer is really corrupt.so students does not get what the deserve.

College Events

2.5

The events are very small and usually only the college students participate in it to increase the crowd the events include slam poetry , cultural, technical, etc. The events are not done with proper plan so mostly they are flop.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes the college is very expensive considering the fees and the facilities provided. The administration every year increases the fee by 10 percent and currently the dee is 2.7 lacks per year and the students does not even get that much from their salaries after placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships available provided by various companies like Barclays, Tata, udchalo etc.the scholarships are provided to about 20 students out of 300 which is very less also if your father is an officer you cannot avail most of the scholarships

Campus Life

1.5

The labs and sports facilities are excellent and the college is known for its activities related to sports.the only good part about the college is the sports facilities it provides the students are really fit and every now and then there are some competitions related to sports

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the alumni are very helpful some are at really good position so they like to help the students by taking them to their companies this is the reason that at least some students get what the deserve.

Admission

The process is simple firstly you have to be a ward of a serving or retired army personal the you just have to fill an online form the site of the college and they will make a merit list based on your JEE rank and will call you accordingly

Faculty

2.5

The faculty is very lazy and are not at all interested in their work and the teaching is not good as well. Also all the teachers generally talk in Marathi so it gets very difficult for most of the students to understand what they are saying or to understand their accent because most of the students are not from Maharashtra

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
