Remarks

Positive remarks are like location faculties, studies, acedemics, all things are very good but somewhere you cant find enviourment like metro cities. You have to work for everything there which make you self dependent.

Course Curriculum Overview

So there are diffrent cources and difftent curriculam. I was in textile design. My overall curiculam was to work on fabric, manupulation, yarn, weavings and all. Surface of the fabric and how it can be used in a designing its our part.

Placement Experience

Placements we can say it depends on trade which you are pursuing and market in which you have to work. Just in these days graphic design is in trend so there is a trade called FC got the placement and package very high compared to TD.

College Events

So my college was located in kangra wgich is in himachal pradesh so we have many events like durga puja where we celebrate it for ten days until dusshera, Then we have converse fest where all nift centers compete each other in diffrent games. Then we have a college fest named spectrum where we invite other colleges too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college fee structure is little bit expensive. When I joined college I payed 75000 for my first semester including sucurity and library charges and in second I have to submit 55000 because I payed security and library fee in 1st sem fee then college fee increases per year 10%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is not provided by college, yes but It has tie up with union bank of india so you can take loan for nift from there and college gives you option of subsidy, if you falls in that catagory you can get upto 75% of your tuition fee back.

Campus Life

So we dont have much in sports but we do hsve a music room where we used to practice a lot for the events and we have small playgrounds for some soprts like basketball, badminton, volleyball and we have It labs too.

Hostel Facilities

In first and second semester I opted for hostel it was my best time and facilitaties were very good but after that NIFT hostel tender for boys was closed so everyone have to look for their own. So I left hostel.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes we do have a alumini network on facebook and on g mail too and yes they are very helpfull because whenever you search for a job you can just checkout those page where all alumini use to post for jobs.

Admission

I gave a paper of NIFT and then I got selected in first exam after that I was selected for a situation test. and after that i got selected. Then after counselling I got my center and my desired trade.

Faculty

Our college faculties are very helpful. Every subject faculties are very stong in their subjects. Some of tem are industrialist and some of them are highly paid employes who gave us guest lectures.

NSUT review as a first year student

Placement Experience:

students get elligible for campus placement in the fourth year. Although have heard some students say to focus more on skills as working in a studio will be better than placement and have also not heard such good news about the amount of students getting placement. my plans too is to focus on skills more than the grades as that would be more helpful and is whats needed more for the career i am going for, instead of the marks i got on writing theory in my answer sheets

Placement Experience:

Speaking about placements I have very little knowledge about it as I am in first year, but after engaging with some really helpful seniors there has been a good hype in the campus placements and I've also heard very reputable companies have accepted students from this college. Also to mention the most important part of this college is it has a 99% placement program which really stood out to me, while talkin to the administrative staff my interest piqued when I heard there was a student who got 12lakh per annum placement opportunity

The real designing college

Placement Experience:

College placements are good enough. A whole week is dedicated to that. Students get enough opportunities throughout the course and are offered jobs in 4th year. Even after that if placement hasn't happened, the college faculties have enough contacts.

The insiders of NIFT delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to opt for something related to marketing side or more like something that requires digital work. The faculty:student ratio is 1:40 in my batch. My faculty is very knowledgeable. I have a good experience in teaching (not all but mostly) with them. The term exams are timely scheduled and it is not easy to pass a exam but it is not also very difficult. If you work consistently throughput the semester you would score a good grade in the end.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligiblr for campus placements from 4th year. But you can get PPOs if are good. You can get exciting internships from 2nd year. Very big companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart etc come for placements. A total of 1300 jobs were offered in 2023. 260 PPOs and 30 international offers very also there.

The reason i chose this college is first, because of its location in himachal. second the goverment institute provide perks which were not there in private institutes. NIFT Delhi - A total walkthrough

I had applied for CEED and didn't qualify. And in NIFT exam I secured the rank 30 and got nift delhi as its the best campus of all over nift. I took this campus. You need to complete any bachelor's background for this exam. They only accept nift entrance scores. Admission experience is pretty smooth as everything is online. And cutoffs varies every year. I didn't apply for any other colleges. I just got to know about nift only. I just wanted to pursue my career in arts and fashion. Also if I would have known about NID I might applied for that only. Because the product designing I'm doing here is way better there than here. Also to get into NIFT Delhi's B.Des. (Accessory Design) program, you'll need to ace the entrance exam, which includes a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). Life in NIFT

Nift is a government College and the fee for it is the least compared to the other fashion colleges. I didn't not apply to even a single other college since I thought I'll just give it a try and fortunately I got in in the first go itself. But I did apply for the uceed exam , my score was 50 marks less and I couldn't make it for that exam . The uceed exam was way tricky than the nift entrance. Nift has a simple admiss Process, you apply for the exam. You give the CAT and GAT exams which are scheduled on the same day itself of 2hrs and 3hrs respectively. Cat is the drawing exam and the gat is for the science maths gk social science etc knowledge test. After you pass this exam then you get selected for the situation test which is a studio based test where you get the materials and 3hrs and you have to then make something with the give material and the provide topics. Then you get a rank Accor to which you sit for the counselling and get the admission in one of the 19 campus in india...Read More
