Remarks

ummm.. Not really. The college supports each and every student.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

This institute is affiliated by Makhanlal Chaturvedi Rashtriya Patrakarita Vishwa Vidyalaya. Course and Syllabus are of university so the college has no command on that. To be very frank, some subjects are not very relevant to a media student. At the end of the day what matters is practical knowledge in media studies and college provides the best practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

5

The placement scenario of this college is just awesome. I am in 3rd year and I am working with one of the largest media groups of India, ETV Bharat. The alumni of this college is in every media group that exists.

College Events

5

College hosts Many Events throughout the session. Some of them are:- 1: MDs Dinner: Our Managing Director Anuj Garg Sir hosts a dinner party in one of the five-star hotel in the city just for meritorious students every semester. 2: Journalist of the Year 3: Channel visits 4: Annual Fest ..and many more

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very less as compared to other media colleges. Other media college charge lakhs of rupees per semester in the name of media college. When I got admission in this college my fee was 45,000 Rs per semester only. The college doesn't charge an extra fee. Everything is included in the fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loan. But some of my classmates availed it and they got it too.

Campus Life

5

Gender ration is about 50 50. In my class, there were students from Bihar, Assam, Darjiling, Maharashtra and from almost every part of the country. So you can see India in class. Labs are well equipped with the teleprompter, voice recorder, video cameras etc.,

Alumni/Alumna

As I mentioned in the above columns too the alumni association of the college is very strong and there are alumni of our college in every big media house. They are very helpful in nature and they help students to get internships very easily.

Admission

First of All, I visited the college and fill the admission form. After that, an entrance test was conducted in college followed by a General Knowledge test and TP Reading Test. I qualified for the test and got admission to college. The entrance result was announced in just a week.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty are best at this institute. Channel head of Sahara Samay, Bhupesh Kohli, Senior News Reader of Doordarshan Ved Prakash Sir, Senior Video Editor of Aaj Tak, Vishal Gaurav, Senior Mediaperson Mehmood Alam are just examples how best faculty of this college is.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and may be seen as average in aspect of my college . I selected my course as I saw myself holding potential in the field of language , English was my strong interest. The curriculum prepares a basic and needed knowledge for everyone accordingly and yes , it may be seen as an important aspect in higher education, experiences from professors and teachers is shared by live demonstrations and examples in order to achieve a good understanding. The improvement in the curriculum may be that of a much regular based classes as there is a frequent cut in classes and sometimes some teachers may slack during the day cancelling classes and stuff . The frequency of exams and timings are arranged and not much complicated related to my course and difficulty may be considered moderate .
