Experiencing the crux of research through this university.

I was preparing for the National Eligibilty test(NET). I opted for this university because it is nearer to my hometown and also it offers a good research background with some renowned faculty members and it is where extensive research is being conducted, with its course completion within 1.5 years.

The course curriculam is as i think designed for the best benefit to the students some of the faculty members are the best and renowned ones and having a huge knowledge for research we have some of our faculty members who quite often move abroad for their seminars and conferences they are really genuine.

My university internship experience is good the internship company is offering a stipend of Rs. 25000 for the entire internship which is for 12 weeks.

Well this is not very extraordinary as a student i would really want some bulk placements to happen.I personally belong from the Economics department and as far i am concerned not many placements have happened here. Students are demanding the college authority to take some necessary steps for the placement and job opportunity to take place.

Well like any other universities our university has very good sports team many other cultural activites are also conducted different seminars from different institutions are also being held.

Fee is too expensive especially for M.Phil we had to pay R. 15600 at the time of our admission which i think was too much for M.Phil Calcutta university takes Rs. 4000 at the time of admission but here it is almost double.

Well i really have to repent when i write this our university never paid any scholarship for M.Phil and this surprises the university students while students of jadavpur university(West bengal), calcutta university earn a stipend of Rs. 5000 per month we are not given a single amount i do not know why this happens we students really want some necessary actions from the central government and state govt to take place so that we students can earn what we are supposed to earn and not ask money from our parents please, we really need help to bring this into practice.

Campus life is very peaceful students are engrossed into their own work always extracurricular activities do take place here like any other universities students participation is well and good.

I have never stayed in the hostel but as i have heard from my friends that it is fairly good and food stuffs are also not bad.

Well as of now i can say that the alumni is very cooperative and the seniors are also helpful with some of them placed in some renowned instituitions for their higher studies.

The exam stucture is fine like any other university labs are also good no exams never gave me any hectic feeling but it was always well coordinated by the teachers.
