Our college does celebrate festivals and events. Main events of our college are cultural based. We do celebrate Durga Pujo in college which is so far the best celebration I ever had in my entire school and college life

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure for B.Sc in Physics is around 15 thousand which is very feasible. There are many colleges in our locality which offers BSc but not at this much cost. It is a budget friendly college and it is worth for 3 years of studying.

Admission

The admission into this college is through West Bengal JEE. My WBJEE was good and I chose this college after my results, they considered both WBJEE and my 12th board marks. After submitting all these documents, I got the admission.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty members are friendly, caring and supportive. They have been teaching in the college from quite long time. They are very talented and their way of teaching is mindboggling. We never get bored during their lectures.

1.The faculties of modern physics and computational physics were exceptional and in my opinion the best in the city. 2.Since i was more inclined towards modern physics i chose this particular college. 3.The curriculam prepares the students for higher studies like masters and doctorate. 4.The frequency and timing of exam coincided with calcutta university. 5.Areas of improvement-Better Equipment for Optics lab and more digital equipments.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

My college offers very minimal placement for the branches of chemistry. Few Chemical manufacturing companies of haldia visits our college for placement. The avarage package for placed students is around 240000 per year.so as l come from the economics department I have access to the internships form college.
