Remarks

Positive remarks - the teachers are very supportive, jolly happy going and helpful. But at the same time there are students who’re weird and use abusive language everywhere in the campus. I think they’d set a uniform so that the college also has its dignity maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is good. Has many parameters which are necessary in life as well, the growth being a science student. It also has various extra curricular activities which help in personality development and various other aspects of an individual.

Internships Opportunities

Yes it does. But the internships are all after graduation. It doesn’t provide for the previous 3 years. People who’ve worked as interns that is my seniors are very not-so-interested in the same field as they’ve worked a lot being interns

Placement Experience

4.5

100% placement record. The college has been felicitated with several awards regarding the same. Specially the course I am into. There are industrialists, HR’s, helpers visiting the college to just hop on the one who’s acing it since it started.

College Events

4.5

There’s nazrana which is like the main event of our college. There’s Jaitra and other departmental fests which obviously are very exciting and refreshing. Nazrana has various days for various events. They’re all Allred differently and separately so nothing’s missed or left behind as per the goal.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very feasible. It is in hundreds, yes legit hundreds for juniors and if you join a course it might switch to thousands above 30 or more. Which I think again is very feasible and in budget, because they actually provide you everything you want in that much of amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various loans provided to different students, but only rank holders and toppers. You’ve to beat/defeat a certain score, as set by the college officially to achieve the scholarships. But for the loans it’s pretty easy as there are guiders and helpers, who’re teachers to process it for you by giving you the right information and advice, if needed.

Campus Life

4

they’re great too. The labs are fully recovered and well managed. The chemistry lab is bit tough to deal with because of it’s structure and environment but then again, the rest of the labs are very well set. The sports aren’t compulsory which is a very good thing.

Hostel Facilities

2

It’s building but I think it’s going to be very great as there are already people talking about it. This is the first time ofcourse our college is coming out with such firms and developments and it just couldn’t get any better than this.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. Akshay Kumar is the prime major alumni, and it’s very shocking to believe that he was in the same college as we are. The status now due to alumins’s have grown alot lately and is growing more and more each day.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is bit different as we’ve hall tickets and classrooms alloted. The students are asked to sit alone and if possible, with their juniors or seniors. It’s cool but at the same time very sluggish.

Admission

The admission process was bit tougher to be honest because, I was on the mark of 84.40% where as the cut off for science was 86% I was 1.5% lesser and there was already a queue with 85, 85.20%, 85.40% waiting to get admitted in the college. I was scared because I had all my hopes on this very college and there were a huge number of people who got the admission cancelled so that’s how my luck shunned and I got it there.

Faculty

4

They’re good. Some of them are bit adamant but they’re nice, you can go up to any one with your doubts anytime and I bet you they won’t deny solving them. They’re helpful and you can also share them your other private stuff without having the fear of it being viral or public.

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the GIPE are decent. This year the highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum by Deloitte and IDFC FIRST Bank. Although the placements are not 100% but it's around 60%. Students need to work hard and score well in aptitude test and they should start the preparation from the second semester onwards so that they can easily manage their end semester exams as well as the aptitude test. The average placement package is around 8-9 lakhs. My plan is to get a corporate job and gain some experience and exposure in the corporate world and learn how the things actually work. Many companies that come to the college are looking for data analytics role. The ratio of the companies looking for consultant, risk analyst is less based on market demand and other circumstances.

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.
