Remarks

The infrastructure and facilities are good. The faculty of this university is also teaches very well. But the drawback what I feel is the expenses. Visakhapatnam itself is a bit expensive city compared to Calcutta. And the college fees is also a bit high.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is good. From engineering and management to law and several post graduate and even phd is available there. You can apply for any course you want. Semester wise exam will be conducted.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are very good in engineering and management studies. But they also provide good placements for other post graduation courses like M.sc and all. But those aren't as high as engineering and management.

College Events

3

Various events are celebrated. The University has several departments and all those departments celebrate their own fest and freshers. Teachers day also celebrated and several sports are there if you actively participate in those.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its a bit expensive but the infrastructure and placement they provide is satisfactory. They will make you learn the subject and also provide good placements. Fees for b.tech and management studies are a bit high.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't applied for any scholarship and loan. But if you want you can go for it. For b.tech and other professional courses banks will definitely provide you loan. You can visit banks and ask for loan.

Campus Life

4.5

Labs are very good in this university. They are made so that various research can be conducted. Labs are conducted in almost every courses in every week. But I felt the colleges don't show much enthusiasm in sports. But if you actively participate in it you have scope.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities are good but hostel fees are high. You can go for private hostels outside if University campus. But hostel fees and rules and regulations are strict. Most of the students don't want a strict hostel. Though for male students its ok ok but for female students college hostel is strict.

Alumni/Alumna

They are helpful. If you contact alumni and senior students they will definitely guide you. But obviously it does not depend upon the University. It depends upon the person from whom you are asking. But most of the seniors will definitely help you.

Admission

I appeared for the entrance exam for gitam University which is called gsat. It is conducted every year in different cities across india. You have to check the official website of gitam University which is gitam.edu for details.

Faculty

4

The faculty was good and very helpful. They will help you learning. Any time if you doubt in your subject or studies they will help you. They teach you the depth of the subject and you also have to work hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is so updated and they focus more on application. They also provide us with the knowledge of emerging fields and opportunities. But i feel like the curriculum should be less hectic for the students. The exams are veru frequent here because there will be 3 internal assessments before the main exams and they are so hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course here in sri Venkateswara university is master of science in statistics. This subject seems to be very interesting and I am very happy with the knowledge that I can get to know from my faculty. Coming to exams and conducting exams they give much time from sem to sem. As it is a semester system we have a lot of time to study. We will be having two internal exams and an external exam. Internal exam is for 20 marks and external exam is for 80 marks on a total of 100 marks.
