Remarks

I may say no Con's about the college. But the pro's are many like the LIBRARY we call it KRC is huge about 3 floors having a million of books is quite nice and the gardens are totally well maintained I may say if you visit the campus you may feel as if you are in a hill site full of trees and Greenery's the management is taking care of the garden a lot and is well maintained.

Entrance Preview

EAMCET, I didn't score a nice rank but through my 12th performance I was in I had scored 93.7% in my 12th through which they had directly admitted me into the college. Actually I had never thought of going this institute as I was more on joining medical (i.e., MBBS) but I didn't had secured a nice rank so I couldn't fulfill my dream but suddenly one day I went through the web and found an equivalent course and which was available at GITAM so joined at the earliest and found the course worth.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I had opted the course because of the vast scope in further studies and research. The course is biotechnology and has a vast scope for research as bio meaning life with the combination of technology is never ending. So anyone who has done this course could do research throughout his life as it includes GENETICS one can easily can do research In human DNA which function and characters are still totally not known as only 5% of the DNA had been explored by the scientists. So this course is totally excellent for one who has a mind totally on research.

Internships Opportunities

Though I'm a newbie to the college I saw some of my seniors flourishing infont of my eyes they had got really good jobs even in some international laboratories and companies. Even heard that the internship pay scales are sky high. And anyone who is the best ranker is even stipend by the college for further studies in abroad .

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are totally awesome as some mulyi national and well known companies heir students for their better future and give a nice salary as per their performance in the studies and extra co curricular activities I was surprised as even companies were hiring students who had an average score but had good sports skills and were paid quite high. Some companies such as Laures labs , Dr. Reddy's labs, some other pharma companies also had hired students with a pay scale of around 3-10Lakh package .

College Events

4.5

There are a lot to talk about starting from fest's to grand fest. All the fest's are performed by each department and the grand fest is really a grand and people from different universities and even schools attend it and cultural activities are though common and almost whoever want to participate they can easily and our college is all full of talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite reasonable compared with other deemed universities. My department Fee's is quite good including the hostel feasibility . it's about 70k for each semester and the other department Fee's such as BBM costs around 2.5L per year and Btech is almost quite the same.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility though I am not aware about but the scholarship availed to students who secure a good rank or the topper of the college are great. And are taken care of for further studies in other foreign studies and are stipend a good amount.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is awesome as the campus area is huge I may say extreme. It's about 100 acres and has many blocks with all kinds of sports block huge grounds for cricket, tennis and an indoor stadium for games like basketball, table tennis. There are few temples inside the campus also. The parties given by the Seniors are great and enjoyable and almost every month or so there are fest's conducted by each department. The eve teasing(ragging) is no where I had been joined 3 months and saw no signs of teasing as each and every student are friendly and caring towards the other.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostels I may say are pretty great as it is well maintained with a quite strict security. And talking about the girls hostel it's very much secured. The rooms are shared between 3-4 are averagely priced around 80-90k per year and a private room is around 1.5L. Though there is no feasibility for Paying Guests.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni or I may say our Seniors are very helpful providing all necessary information and right track to opt. In the future and they are too caring about our future providing all necessary information like what should we do next which companies should we work for and what are the future opportunities.

Exam Structure

It's obiviously hectic and sometimes chilled. The practicals are rather a hard job and the examinations are much harder as we have semester system it's hard to coupe up and each and every mark which we score adds up to the final marks and we have frequent examinations i.e., every month or so we have mids and semesters. But the initial months are always chilled.

Admission

Actually at first i was hesitating joing any other course other than MBBS but when I saw a great scope in upcoming future and had all my favorite subjects to study including genetics I was excited and also was little worried if they will admit me or not as it had been a month since the classes had been started and I was too late but Getting into the admission process was easy for me though as to get admitted all had to write an entrance test but I was very lucky and was admitted directly as I had a good score at my 12th board examination.

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college are the best in teaching and even are friendly . Though some are strict with the rules and regulations. As I had joined a month late I didn't find anything difficult either in learning or understanding the lectures as they were so informative and friendly in teaching the lectures again and again for those who were unable to understand and learn. Because of which I could easily couped up with the syllabus which was earlier taught.

The curriculum is so updated and they focus more on application. They also provide us with the knowledge of emerging fields and opportunities. But i feel like the curriculum should be less hectic for the students. The exams are veru frequent here because there will be 3 internal assessments before the main exams and they are so hectic.
