Course Curriculum Overview

4

Probably, learning through mistakes is the main motto of this college. It enhances us to clear our minds. The knowledge we gain from college will help us to achieve the best standards in any industrial environment. It also helps to crack the placements with ease. Industrial visits can be seen in this college which helps us to improve our overall performance.

Placement Experience

3

Companies like GVK BIO, ARABINDO LABORATORIES, REDDY'S LABORATORIES, etc. The institution doesn't follow any steps to prepare us for the placements. We should train on our own. To attend the drive, one should give names to the department HOD. He will select the students who should attend. Then those students should attend the drive with their resumes.

College Events

3

Freshers, farewell, National farmer's day, Wetlands day, Women's day, sports events, annual function, fest, science day, ozone day. Science day is celebrated as a prestigious event because all the science departments take part in it with ease and gratitude by presenting a huge number of projects and models.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for this program is about 45000. It is a bit expensive. The fee will be paid through online. There are so many additional fees being charged for unnecessary things. No fee-breakdown will be provided. Expensive living is seen in this college. For the poor ones, it will be very difficult. One should look into this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I have opted for the scholarship. After joining the institution, I have applied for the scholarship program through an online base with relevant information and certifications like marks memos, caste and income certificates. Every year you should renewal it through online.

Campus Life

3

The gender ratio is about 50:50. Our college conducts extracurricular activities but doesn't focus on them. No racism, casting couch etc. We all discuss the outside world like politics, helping groups and all. One should become a saviour to their respective departments by claiming the prizes.

Hostel Facilities

2

I have opted for a hostel which is college attached one. Rooms are not likely good. Food is a bit different from what I have seen and expected. Sharing of rooms also matters bad. The average rent for the hostel is about 25000 per year. Students maintain their own by calculating the expenses within the month.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the best and most important ones in the college. They treat us like their own children. They help us in and out of the world.

Admission

I got admitted to this college through entrance test conducted by Andhra University. I chose this college to improve my practical knowledge and teaching skills. To get admission, one needs to apply online for the entrance exam. After writing the exam and announcement of results, one should attend the counselling session with respective certifications. During or after the session, one should select the desired college in the list. Andhra University arranges one's seat according to the rank, admissions etc. After you need to pay all the fee at once online. You will get a letter, with the letter you should report to the college.

Faculty

3.5

Absolutely, 9 faculty members are there. So, every student activities will be monitored. Major of them were qualified for PhD so all of them are very well trained subject experts. Most of them have worked in industrial environments. Most of them are at the age greater than 25 years. One of them is at 65+ age.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is so updated and they focus more on application. They also provide us with the knowledge of emerging fields and opportunities. But i feel like the curriculum should be less hectic for the students. The exams are veru frequent here because there will be 3 internal assessments before the main exams and they are so hectic.

My course here in sri Venkateswara university is master of science in statistics. This subject seems to be very interesting and I am very happy with the knowledge that I can get to know from my faculty. Coming to exams and conducting exams they give much time from sem to sem. As it is a semester system we have a lot of time to study. We will be having two internal exams and an external exam. Internal exam is for 20 marks and external exam is for 80 marks on a total of 100 marks.
