Remarks

NIT as the name says has been a great institute in terms of placements and academics. Inspite of these extracurricular activities are much promoted here which is the best thing about our college. seniors are very helpful and the whole environment is nature friendly and loving.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The teachers professors are very nice which enforces students to focus on their career more and inspite of only studying they also encourage us to take part in extra curricular activities including singing and dancing and drama.

Placement Experience

4

The placements and job opportunities depends on branch to branch. Like for CS and IT students, the placements cells are awesome. Many companies come for computer related jobs but for other branches the chances are lesser. Core companies come lesser compared to IT companies.

College Events

3.5

The main cultural event of our college is Confluence which is held in October. In this large participation from nearby colleges occurs and there are numerous events then we have technical fest that is Techspardha which also occurs some days before confluence and in that also huge participation is there from all the years inside and outside college. Prizes and certificates are given to the winners.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If you are a general student, the fees is very much high and for reserved categories the fees is just half or even less than half. The fees also varies according to your income background, like if you have less than 1 LPA income, the fees is almost neglected but for general people the fees is 74000 per semester which is quite high.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are given time to time for the meritorious students who score exemplary good and these scholarships are given at convocation time. The college also funds for the low income background students who are not able to fulfill their fees by helping them in giving loans.

Campus Life

5

Extracurricular activities are much promoted as I myself am a part of dance crew of this college and all the teachers support each and every activity happening. The lab system are also very good. We have regular labs and at the end of each sessional examinations we have lab examinations also to test our skills.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Girls hostel are a boon here. Like girls hostel have everything and are well maintained. We have our personal single rooms and good mess facilities but for boys hostel they live two people in one room or so depends on the year. Both the hostel infrastructure are good

Alumni/Alumna

The best part of this college is that seniors are very helpful like they treat us as their kids and help in each and every aspect whether it be professional or personal lives. They give their old question papers, solve our problems and make us understand smaller things too. Moreover they have also made small clubs of languages etc which helps us to teach basic computer languages and concepts of basic studying.

Admission

I have always been a mathematics enthusiast which forced me in this sector. I prepared for two years and finally got admission into NIT Kurukshetra in spot round with ECE branch. The admission process was long, I had to submit all the documents requires and all the medical processes too to get all the certificates required then in MBA block I got registered in BTech course for 4 years.

Faculty

4

The faculty of our college are very educated and help students in each and every field. Every teacher has completed their PhD courses and hence are much qualified to take the courses. Secondly, most of the faculty come on time and is very enthusiastic to take the classes each and every day, they take very few leaves and are present almost daily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I am very fond of computers and mobile devices since my childhood and want to learn the work behind these smart gadgets. Overall faculty students ratio is good it is approximately 1:40. Most of the teachers are M.tech qualified from prestigious universities like Jamia and Aligarh and some PhD holders as well. As far as teaching is concerned, the overall methodology is good and don't expect some game changing scenarios. Most of the time, term exams happen in timely manner. Due to covid there was some sort of irregularities but now it is all good right now. Passing exams is not that much challenging if you have basic understanding of concepts and ability to apply them. Most of questions comes from previous year papers.
