Remarks

The faculty of the college are very good and everyone are very sincere towards students management are also too good labs are very old but its workable my college is lagging in terms of sports as compare to other NITs. Placements are also far better than

I qualified AIEEE exam 2012 and secured 12762 All india rank and took admission in mechanical engineering of NIT Calicut i choose this college because placement of this call is far better than except 3 IITs.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is little bit tough but its better for a mechanical engineer.Faculties are very good all are highly qualified.

Internships Opportunities

I did two internship first in AIR INDIA ltd New Delhi and second research project in IIT guwahati i got too much knowledge there.

Placement are very good and job opportunity is also good for mechanical engineer in my college.

College Events

RAGAM is our cultural festival and its a very big event in entire south india.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostel rooms are too old but maintenance are good its 4 seated room in my hostel i rate it 8 out of 10 mess food are also good and i rate 8.5 out of 10.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah government of india providing loan to all IIT and NITs student at discounted rate state govt providing scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus is vey large but girls are very less in my campus only 1000 girls out of 5000 students labs are very old but workable sports and competion are happening on regular basis.

Yeah alumini are helping us by providing fund and during campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
