Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is very good including both theory courses and lab courses. The general trend is mid-sem and end-sem exams are conducted.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are best at IIT Bombay in India. Many companies come for internships and the highest internship stipend goes to 6 lakh per month. On an average basis, the stipend goes to 20000 and many good companies offer 50000 - 1 lakh.
College Events
There are many fests of IIT Bombay and are Asia's largest fest completely organized by students. There are many fests namely as 1) Mood Indigo - Cultural 2) Techfest - Technical 3) E-Summit - Enthrperunship 4) Abhyuday - Social.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is quite less compared to other colleges as major expenses are borne by the Indian government. Also, many different types of scholarships are awarded to students. Also, loans are easily available.
Admission
IIT Bombay, along with other IITs and IISc, conducts the entrance examination for admission and pre-qualification of students for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. JEE (Advanced Joint Entrance Examination) for the B.Tech program. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) for M.Tech and Ph.D. programs. CEED (Common Entrance Exam for Design) for M. Des and Ph.D. programs. UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam in Design) for B.Des programs. JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.).
Faculty
The faculty at IIT Bombay is top class and the best in entire India. All the professors have at least 4-5 research papers in their name and the majority of professors have written their own compilation. They have great research experience.
