Remarks

U can surely look up to this instituition if you want a happy cheerful and positive graduation experience ! This is the best instituition that i could have got and I have no regrets for have been choosing this college to pursue my dream of MBBS

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course and cirruculum are as prescribed by the Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences ! And it is best structured in all ways possible. Regarding exam, we will have to face three internal assessment out of which best two will be sent to University and one final exam which will have two theory papers and one practical for all the subjects except for biochemistry in first year, forensic medicine In second year and Opthalmology and ENT in third year for which we will face one theory paper and one practical for each subject ! Each paper will be for a total of 100 marks

Placement Experience

5

Yes ! After completing four and half years of mbbs degree ! They give us one year of internship in mcgann teaching district hospital which is linked to our college ! And there is no thing as placement in MBBS !we need to finish our post graduation studies and get a job.

College Events

4.5

There will be a annual sports fest which will go on for a month named Samara. An annual cultural fest conducted for three days named samskruthi where more than 80 cultural competition will be held An annual intercollegiate fest will be hosted for two days where student from across the state can participate ! There will also be kannada Sangha program as part of celebration of Karnataka rajyotsava named nudinamana

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible ! The fees structure vaires for every year as per the direction from the state government ! In an average it will be less than two and a half lakhs for whole of the 4 and half year combined ! And hostel will be 3000-3500 per months including mess charges

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship of loan facility by the college as such ! Student scholarship are given by the government as per the eligibility criteria they set for which student will have to apply separately and college has no role to play in those

Campus Life

5

As said ! There will be sports fest and cultural fest every year! As far as sports is concerned . we have a well equiped gym free of cost for the students ! We have a sports ground and all the sports supplies that we need !

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel is extremely good ! There are three students in each room ! New hostel is being constructed after which only two students shall be living in a room ! There is also attached bathroom for every room with 24/7 running water and a geyser (water heater) to use whenever needed

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the sweetest persons we find on the campus ! There is no established alumni yet!but the seniors are always guiding and help out in any manner that we ask for ! Soon the alumni network will be established as the plans are ongoing to conduct the first alumni meet !

Admission

We had C.E.T ! An entrance exam conducted by the state board ! Where we had to face three papers, physics biology and chemistry, 60 marks each containing 60 mcq ! Our marks was totalled and rank alloted !then there was document verification where every detail that I had entered in the application was rechecked and they gave a separate password and username for an account through which I made my option entries for the college and got this college based on my rank in the CET

Faculty

4

They are extremely helpful towards the students ! There knowlede about the subjects are remarkable ! Classes are conducted in the most interactive way possible. There will be three hours of clinical posting where the students and trained to and let to interact and examine the patients ! Its a good practical experience.

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.
