Best for future doctors

As the college is situated in Karnataka, you will enjoy the climate and pleasant nature inside the campus too. Campus is very spacious. And the hospital is attached so students get to learn every details about the patient conditions. Hands-on practice approach is also benefited.

This course structure has good scope for the post graduation. Once you score well in UG ,you can get to learn PG over here. But make sure after PG you need to work here for 2-3yrs and you need to sign the bond. If incase you drop out in the middle ,have to pay the penality. Exams are based on semester wise and little hectic as you will have back to back exams, practicals etc.

There's no placement opportunities as we are Doctors and internship is for 1 1/2year ,total duration of the course is 51/2years. During the internship period we will be posted in different departments in every month. You will get to know about all the inflow and outflow of the hospital details. There's no need to worry about anything related to experience you get over here.

Fee structure is based on year wise ,each year you will be get to pay around 60k . Students who are not merit based they need to pay around 8L for the medical seat. It is quiet managable for the students as mostly students are merit based.

Scholarships are not available but there's fee befinits for the merit and non- merit students. The process of intake is highly standardized. Loan facilities are also available based on the student needs.

College is good at conducting extra curricular activities. NSS camps are also attended and few NGO field trips were also taken by the college. Workshops are conducted according to the course wise standards. There's no caste related issues in the campus and all are treated the same. Everything at the college are it's best.

Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. Separate hostel buildings are present. Mostly all the students are hostelers. You need to be paid around 10-13k based on the room sharing. College and hostel both are environment friendly.

I have done my +2 course in Shimoga itself and hence I scored good marks in NEET I have choosen this college. Currently I'm in 2nd year. You need to score very good marks in +2 minimum of 50% for the admission in this college. Cut off is around 5k and 150 seats are available. You are in - if you score really well as I mentioned above.

College faculty are really good and most of them are elderly people who has good experience in teaching for more than 10-12years. Our anatomy professor always motivates us about how important it is to learn and treat our patients. Faculty comes to class on time and nurtures us with good education standards.
