Review of Department of Mechanical Engineering

According to me it is very good college for those students who are going to study in a private engineering college . Placement is very good and facilities and also very helpful . This college will help to grow the future .

It is a very interesting course . There are 8 semesters within that 4 years course ,also including 2 internal exams in every semester . ODD semester exams are conducted during November-December month , and EVEN semester exams in June-July month .

In 2016 , our college holds 6th position in W.B. in placement and job section within all private engineering colleges . It also provides internship after the course or during the course . The internship can be for 6-8 months and the stipend varies for all companies . Stipends are actually decided by the companies .

1. Technical fest - it occurs during September-October month . Huge amount of students take part in it . 2. Cultural fest - it is named as "LAGANZA" it occurs during September-October month . Huge amount of students take part in it . 3. Competition- All depends organized their own project completion. 4 . Foundation day - 8th August . 5. Teacher's day - 5th September celebrated. 6. Fresher's welcome - in every year new students are welcome .

The fees structure is Feasible in compared to all private engineering colleges . In every semester we have to give 40,000 as tuition fees , 1200 as exam fees , and some other required amount . TFW is also available in our college .

tuition Fees welfare is available in our college . Main criteria of the freeship is, the family income of the student must be below 2lacks per annum . If the student is eligible for the scholarship then the college decides which students need it most.

Various types of extracurricular and sports activity is organized by our college . Winter sports , cricket tournament, football tournament , basketball tournament , volleyball tournament , drawing competition , cultural competition organized by our college .

I'll rate the hostel infrastructure and facilities as 8 in the scale of 10 . The infrastructure is very good , and all the facilities are available in it . Free WiFi , generator , food , beds , lights , fans are available .

Most of the passout students are placed or started their business or make their own path after graduation . Most of them are very helpful . Senior students always guides the junior students with their experience and knowledge in every way possible.

I had appeared for WBJEE 2016 . After secured a good rank in it , I had given "asansol Engineering college " in the top of the online councilling process . Then I got chance to take admission in this college after councilling process was done . Then I had came to the college campus and took admission as per their procedure given in college website.

All faculties of our college is very helpful . They also guide us to do our projects . And also helps us to clear all doubt regarding course or outside of the course . They helps us in every way possible.
