KUFOS is a government institution.They have one of the best food science departments in India.Twice we got award for this.It is best place to study and grow.we will have an overall improvement in our academics as well as etra curricular activities.

KUFOS have a different curriculum pattern.we have total 4 Semesters.First 3 semester there is examination at the end of the semester.50 marks for internal and 50 for external.In the fourth semester we are supposed to go to food industries for training.

No the college does not provide any internship.There is placement.Campus interview take place in the third or fourth semester.various reputed companies come and select students after conducting exam or interview.

Mainly we celebrated Onam and world food day.Various competitions was held.pokkalam,malayi manka etc were some of them.Another important celebration was world food day.Kufos and kefta Cochin chapter together conducted a seminar on the topic prospectus and challenges faced by catering industry.Inter collegiate Food safety quiz was also conducted.

Feasible for students belonging to reservation category and fisher men's children.They will be awarded various scholarships.Initially we have to pay ?46,000.And we have to pay semester fees in the beginning of each semester.

Yes there are various scholarships for the economically backward students.Each scholarship money is of good amount.Also there is scholarship facilities opened for students with annual income of the family less than 1 lakh.It will be awarded to the deserving ones.

KUFOS have well established and maintained laboratories.Food science department have food science lab and food processing lab with all the equipments and machineries.There are also various other labs in the campus.

KUFOS have very good hostel facilities.But only limited seats are available.so the hostel facilities will be alloted based on distance and reservation.Each student will be given a study table,chair and bed.Also food will be provided.

Senior students of KUFOS are working in various reputed industries.They guide us help us to know more about food industries.They are always ready to help their juniors.Alumi network exist and they are lead by students itself.

Entrance examination for the admission was held in the month may.I appeared for the entrance in the stream food science and technology.In the month of June result was published.I cleared entrance examination and finally got admission.

KUFOS is blessed with well experienced faculties.All of them convey things from the base to its peak. Almost all of them have phD in any of the subjects.They are dedicated and enthusiastic.They are always ready to here us and clear our doubts.
