Remarks
Our college is one of the finest in kerala in the field of technical education. Our college not only provide a place for students to study books. Our college provide a place for students to explore their life. There is many things in life that we will need to face. I can assure everyone that the life in NSSCE will show you the way in these situations. Students don't come to college just for completing a course. They come to learn what life is and NSSCE will be the best place to learn it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is one of the best for technical education students. We have two internal assesment examinations and one semester examination. Tottaly we have eight semesters. It is a four year course. The pass mark for internal examination combined is 22.5 out of 50.This is for the two internal examinations combined. Students will be eligible to write the semester examination only if they get a minimum of 22.5 mark.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of our college is one of the finest in the state. Last year almost 95% of our students got placement in reputed firms from our country and abroad as well. Companies like UST global, TCS, Alstom etc come to our college for selection. In total almost 60 different companies comes to our college for placement.The college authorities also provide internship oppurtunities for 5 best students of each class.They will get a stipend between 10000 to 20000 depending upon companies.
College Events
The main event of our college is the Tech fest. DYUKSHA it is the technical fest of our college. The tech fest have 50+ technical events and seminars. And other non technical events. Apart from Dyuksha we have arts fest know as NOOPURAM.We also have sports events coordinated by the college union.Many other workshops, seminars, lectures etc are conducted by different department associations.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our college is a government aided college. So the students have to pay only government fees. The government fee structure is very low when compared to the private college fees structure. The students of our college have to pay 5000 rs tusion fees and 1700 examination fees in each semester. While the private college students have to pay 75000 college fees. So the fees structure of our college is feasible for almost every student.
Fees and Financial Aid
As our college is a government aided college we can apply for many government scholarships. The e-grantz scholarship is a state government scholarship which is made available for the students of my college. The total fees and extra pocket money will be given as scholarship by the government. Other scholarships like CENTRAL SECTOR SCHOLARSHIP, MEAN CUM MERIT SCHOLARSHIP and PRIME MINISTERS SCHOLARSHIP etc are also made available to students. As our college is a governmet aided college and fees structure is very low so the college students dont have to apply for any loans. The scholarship amount will be enough.
Campus Life
The college provide a great space for students to show off their extra curricular skills. The labs in our college are of the finest of quality. Every department have labs and workshops regarding their own department seperatly. We also have a centralised computer lab for the students extra researches and needs. Our college have also shown special interest in sports. Sports persons are greatly encouraged by the faculties. Extra care is given for them in their skills also in their studies to help them.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumini network works very good. The alumines even builded a new block in our college known as the alumini block. The aluminies of our college are now holding key possision in many firms. So they help in placement process also. They always try to select our students for their firms. Many aluminies also provide the students with scholarships of their own. They also help the students by giving placement training classes.
Admission
I attended the kerela entrance examination. Post a good rank in the examination rank list. Then i applied for different colleges in kerala. NSS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING was my preffered one. And i got allotment in NSSCE during the 2nd allotment.
Faculty
The faculty of NSSCE are one of the finest in the state of kerala in the field of technical education. Most of the faculty have completed their Phd and PG from reputed instituition like IIT, IIST etc.
