Remarks

I can't truly corner out any negative remark just being in Raebareli the exposure is very little actually nil and so i think a fashion college shouldn't be in a place like this as its a small town so is unsafe for girls to be out after 8 though boys are allowed till 10 .

Course Curriculum Overview

During seat allotment i got leather design as my department which us different from maky studebts excluding 27 more who are in my same department so in my opinion being a leather design student we work our assoff but still we are not recognised

Placement Experience

The placement in leather dedign is a bit confusing because of the weather conditions in india but being a major producer of leather in world i dont know where the problem is .yes our college provide us with internships and job placements.

College Events

In the beginning of the academic year that us from july end we awaits for our orientation programs of the new subjects introduced and then in august we have talent show of the new commera in September we celebrate teachers day and then freshers then onam , ganesh chaturthi etc. And the list goes on and on.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Nift being a government institute is very expensive. But they do provide us with the facilities we deserve like transport wifi hostel, food, stationary, 24*7 electricity, resourc centre and with scholarship programs etc

Fees and Financial Aid

A very good scholarship that our college avail to us is of sarthak though i dont know much about it as its for the people having their parents salary less than 4 lac or something i don't know clearly.

Campus Life

In extra curricular activities we have some clubs in our college that is SAP for sports ESSE for literature CULTURAL for cultural etc . And then from last year in extra curricular we have been introduced with two general elective subjects in majors comprising of yoga ,gardening, french etc.

Hostel Facilities

Yes i have opted for hostel and i am kinda satisfied with the facilities available though we face some problems in between but they are managed ASAP and the rooms available are for double occupancy with one cooler, two cupboards, two table two chair we are given laundry facilities but we have to pay for it the mess charges are included in hostel fee but only for lunch and dinner .

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

I dont have any network with any alumni hut i do have friendship with seniora though beung the golden batch our curriculum changed drastically so they have no clue of our subjects and hence aren't able to help so we are ONLY dependent on our teachers ond resources like internet and guest faculties.

Admission

I gave the entrance exam which is GAT and CAT general ability test and creative ability test and got qualified for second round and then got qualified in that too, sat in seat allotment got the seat and took admission.

Faculty

Being in leather design department i have very cool and satisfying faculties they try their best to give us the exposure and support we need to achieve our goal. And only academicly but also personally support us.

NSUT review as a first year student

Placement Experience:

students get elligible for campus placement in the fourth year. Although have heard some students say to focus more on skills as working in a studio will be better than placement and have also not heard such good news about the amount of students getting placement. my plans too is to focus on skills more than the grades as that would be more helpful and is whats needed more for the career i am going for, instead of the marks i got on writing theory in my answer sheets

Placement Experience:

Speaking about placements I have very little knowledge about it as I am in first year, but after engaging with some really helpful seniors there has been a good hype in the campus placements and I've also heard very reputable companies have accepted students from this college. Also to mention the most important part of this college is it has a 99% placement program which really stood out to me, while talkin to the administrative staff my interest piqued when I heard there was a student who got 12lakh per annum placement opportunity

The real designing college

Placement Experience:

College placements are good enough. A whole week is dedicated to that. Students get enough opportunities throughout the course and are offered jobs in 4th year. Even after that if placement hasn't happened, the college faculties have enough contacts.

The insiders of NIFT delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to opt for something related to marketing side or more like something that requires digital work. The faculty:student ratio is 1:40 in my batch. My faculty is very knowledgeable. I have a good experience in teaching (not all but mostly) with them. The term exams are timely scheduled and it is not easy to pass a exam but it is not also very difficult. If you work consistently throughput the semester you would score a good grade in the end.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligiblr for campus placements from 4th year. But you can get PPOs if are good. You can get exciting internships from 2nd year. Very big companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart etc come for placements. A total of 1300 jobs were offered in 2023. 260 PPOs and 30 international offers very also there.

The reason i chose this college is first, because of its location in himachal. second the goverment institute provide perks which were not there in private institutes. There is an entrance exam to be cracked to get admission in this college, conducted at different centres from all over India. NIFT Delhi - A total walkthrough

I had applied for CEED and didn't qualify. And in NIFT exam I secured the rank 30 and got nift delhi as its the best campus of all over nift. I took this campus. You need to complete any bachelor's background for this exam. They only accept nift entrance scores. Admission experience is pretty smooth as everything is online. And cutoffs varies every year. A Glimpse into NIFT New Delhi

I didn't apply for any other colleges. I just got to know about nift only. I just wanted to pursue my career in arts and fashion. Also if I would have known about NID I might applied for that only. Because the product designing I'm doing here is way better there than here. Also to get into NIFT Delhi's B.Des. (Accessory Design) program, you'll need to ace the entrance exam, which includes a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). Life in NIFT

Nift is a government College and the fee for it is the least compared to the other fashion colleges. I didn't not apply to even a single other college since I thought I'll just give it a try and fortunately I got in in the first go itself. But I did apply for the uceed exam , my score was 50 marks less and I couldn't make it for that exam . The uceed exam was way tricky than the nift entrance. Nift has a simple admiss Process, you apply for the exam. You give the CAT and GAT exams which are scheduled on the same day itself of 2hrs and 3hrs respectively. Cat is the drawing exam and the gat is for the science maths gk social science etc knowledge test. After you pass this exam then you get selected for the situation test which is a studio based test where you get the materials and 3hrs and you have to then make something with the give material and the provide topics. Then you get a rank Accor to which you sit for the counselling and get the admission in one of the 19 campus in india...Read More
