Average college

Pros- 1. Looks beautiful. 2. Friendly faculty. 3. Transportation is provided. 4. Not too costly. 5. Ranks 11th in top colleges in Hyderabad. Cons- 1. Unprofessional teaching. 2. Strict staff but they don't take necessary or no action sometimes. 3. Washrooms stink. 4. Canteen doesn't seem hygenic. 5. Very less holidays are given compared to other colleges. 6. Buses are overcrowded (not all) and the drivers don't drive properly in some instances.

The exam structure is one of the things I hate about this college. The colleges my friends and family attend have a way different and convenient examination structure. For example - In my college average, the Mid-1 and Mid-2 examinations are taken for the internal marks out of 25 where mids consist of 20 marks each. The remaining 5 marks are given according to your attendance whereas in other colleges it's best of 2 which is convenient for a student.

What I've heard from my faculty and seniors is that the placements are pretty decent but the recruiting companies aren't a big deal. But not all of them. My college does provide internship opportunities but I'm not aware of the details regarding stipend and the companies offering internship to the students.

VJIT fest- This event takes place every January or February. It goes on for about a week where students put up stalls and sell food, demonstrate projects etc. and also a few programs like singing and dancing. Fresher's party- Every year this event takes place in the middle of the first semester to welcome the freshmen. A few extra events include- Bathukamma Women's day

Expensive for what they provide but not too expensive. 80000 INR is the tuition fee + 18000-22000 transport fee depending on how far you live from the campus + 7000 JNTU fee + a few more I can't remember. But the fee constitutes up to 87600 INR excluding the transport fee.

Lower castes are eligible to apply for loans or scholarships. One of my friends receives around 20000INR. Apart from scholarships, there are a few of my friends whose fee is lower than the rest. Around 50000 to 60000.

Labs are well maintained but the equipment isn't well maintained. In my experience, the equipment was mostly faulty or hard to use did to damage. But they do keep spare apparatus like resistors and transistors. Coming sports, sports facilities are provided by the college. But the problem is that the sports activities are after the classes and the buses won't wait for you. You'll either have to use public transportation or bring your own vehicle.

Never met any alumni. The senior students I've ever been interested in never seemed professional. Most of the seniors look sketchy and Ill-mannered. My phone was stolen on campus when we were taking our midterm examination.

We need to meet the administrator and talk about the fee and come to an agreement. Then you're asked to fill up a form and pay the amount in cash for the seat in your desired stream (ECE, CSE etc.). This procedure is when you haven't secured a seat in EAMCET or any other examinations. You can go for counselling to acquire a seat in this college.

The faculty is good and friendly. Good and friendly as person but most of them do not possess the knowledge to teach or they lack passion for teaching. The classes aren't exciting. The last time I enjoyed my classes is in my first year of Engineering. We rarely have interesting subjects, but when we do we end up with boring lecturers.
