Course Curriculum Overview

4

there is still scope for improvement in certain areas. For instance, the integration of more industry-driven projects and collaborations with financial institutions could enhance practical exposure. While theoretical knowledge is comprehensive, incorporating more hands-on tools and software such as SAP, Tally ERP, or financial modeling using Excel and Python would make students more industry-ready The MBA Finance curriculum at Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT) offers a well-balanced blend of theoretical concepts and practical learning, making it a strong foundation for students aspiring to build careers in the financial sector. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of core financial principles such as Financial Management, Investment Analysis, Corporate Finance, Financial Derivatives, Banking, and Risk Management. These subjects were a key factor influencing my decision to choose this program, as they align closely with the current industry trends and requirements of modern finance professionals.

Placement Experience

4

Yaa there are campus placements from our college The placements started from ending of the second semester. Mostly our placement cell brought marketing jobs so which it found some difficult in finding finance jobs Very limited finance jobs brought by the placement cell don't know why as they were saying due to the market conditions but still some big companies have been came like berkedia, ryan, value labs etc are brought for finance And 40-50% are been placed in companies through college placements

Fees and Financial Aid

I have joined through icet but I got around 22000 rank so I went through special financing and the yearly you Will be paying is 60000 and the semester fees doesn't include in the college fees you need to pay separately and no lab fees for mba . Bus fees should be paid separatly

Campus Life

4

VJIT encourages a healthy mix of academics and extracurriculars. The campus offers sports facilities for cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, and indoor games like chess and table tennis. Annual sports events promote teamwork and physical fitness. The college also has active student clubs such as the Finance Club, Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), Cultural Club, and Rotaract Club, which organize workshops, competitions, and social service activities. These clubs help students develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills beyond academics. The student portal and LMS system make it easy to access academic materials, attendance, and updates digitally.Campus life at VJIT is lively, inclusive, and full of learning opportunities. The institute hosts major events like the annual cultural fest “Yuva” (held around February–March) and the technical fest “Technovation” (usually in September), which showcase students’ creativity and technical skills. The central library is well-stocked with books, journals, e-resources, and access to databases like DELNET and EBSCO, supporting both coursework and research. Classrooms are modern, equipped with projectors, Wi-Fi, and digital boards that make learning interactive. Students also benefit from seminar halls, computer labs, and group discussion rooms that enhance collaborative learning.

Admission

I have selected some colleges before like aurora, cbit, mgit, kmit, etc but my friends suggested to join by telling about the college sok Yaa actually I didn't get much rank in icet to get fees less But still even after writing icet the mba fees in Vjit is less and it's a very beautiful college with nature filled, events etc The cutoff rank for VJIT MBA varies each year depending on factors such as the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seat availability. Generally, candidates securing a TSICET rank between 8,000 and 25,000 have a good chance of admission under the convener quota, though it may vary slightly for general and reserved categories. For the management quota, the selection is based on graduation marks, interview performance, and seat availability.

Faculty

4

Faculty members are good to their extent and experience Mostly every faculty is friendly but some will keep on going to their lecture. Some faculty will be teaching lessons in a fun manner too which makes everyone listen and showing intrest in listening. Each semester have 6 exams and for each semester we have 2 mid exams in between and it's based on cgpa and sgpa process

Night Life

4

Night life means we didn't visit college at night as they don't allow us in night only at the events we can stay till the event completion like annual day , cultural fests etc and we have one big cafeteria and one small canteen too and a juice point . We also have a big library and a small library we can take books by taking Library card and we have to return those books on specific date mentioned. And the campus timing for mba is 9:20 to 3:30
