Course Curriculum Overview
PGDM BIF has many practical lessons which help you to enter in the financial sector.Curriculum is designed for the real world applications and academic pursuits.Every 3 months there are wexams with medium difficulty.
Internships Opportunities
College gets internship opportunities in corporates.You can get PPO while in internship.The alumnis also run companie so they also provide internships.You have to write a thesis based on your internship.
Placement Experience
From 4th trimester placements start.80 percent placement percentage.Deloitte, ICICI, Marico, Federal Bank, FT etc visits the college.Highest package is 20 lakhs per annum and average package is 7 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
I joined the course in 2016.At that time total course fees for 2 years was 800000 and hostel fees for 2 years was 200000.Admission fees was 50K.For hostel 5K caution deposit was there.Now the fees for this college is 5.8 lakhs per year for hostel it is 2 lakhs per annum.I got a scholarship of 60K as I scored well in the entrance test.
Campus Life
Annual fest is there its called SANSKRITI where entrepreneurs,alumni and business leaders gather together students from other colleges are also welcome.Library has all recent journals and books.Smart classes are there with projectors and all.Extracurricular activities are encouraged literary club,sports cub and so on.Student manage the clubs and conduct events biweeklt to boost management skills to become future leaders.
Hostel Facilities
AC rooms with beds and table.You can avail single room or can share it with other student.Maximim 2 members per room.Tasty food served in cafeteria.Different menu everyday.Can have veg and non veg.Affordable hostel but need to be register at the time of admission.
Admission
Location and college is very old with good reputation.I found it affordable.I got confirmed admission in We school and IFMR.I accepted this college based on location and affordability.Exmas accepted are CAT,MAT,CMAT,ATMA
Faculty
1:20 is faculty to student ratio.Each student has a mentor teacher who will guide the student throughout the course.All faculties and even the Dean is approachable anytime.Teachers stay with students in the hostel it makes interaction easier.Sathish sir of operations is very knowledgable karuna mam of marketing Sridhar Sir of HR and there are many teachers who really guide you to build your future.Trimester exams are there total 6 exams.They are of average difficulty.
Interview Experience
Current affairs and questions related to corporate news are generally picked up for GD.Aptitude tests are also there.Daily news reading can get you through the GD.For aptitude general aptitude is tested versant test for international companis.
Night Life
College has plagrounds cafeterias .hostel time is till 6pm in the evening.Has many colleges nearby NALSAR,BITS pilani etc.Shamirpet lake and resorts are nearby.Student can explore outside also.Good place and safe
