Review on Institute of Public Enterprise

I have applied for two colleges- the Institute of Public Enterprise and Alliance University. I have given my GD, PI for both the colleges but I have chosen Institutue of Public Enterprise. The admission process was very smooth and the faculty were very friendly to make me understand which course would be better for me to choose. The admission criteria vary for different entrance exams. For MAT, it is 70% or above.

The course curriculum covered all the topics that we would be required to understand the subject thoroughly. All the faculty members are highly experienced and help us at all times to clear our doubts.

Many companies visit the campus every year to offer internships to the students in different fields like HR, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics. One of the top recruiters is Deloitte which offers a stipend of around 25k.

The students will be eligible for campus placements from the fourth trimester i.e., the second year of PGDM. Some of the top companies that visit IPE are Deloitte, Amazon, TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Paytm, Genpact, Oracle. The highest package in the year 2020 was 20.84 lac and the average package was 6 lac.

The fee for the two year PGDM course is 8 Lakhs. The institute provides scholarships up to 2 lakhs for merit students. The amount of scholarship depends on the marks scored by the student in the entrance exam. The college provides good placement opportunities for students across all PGDM courses and some of the top recruiters are Deloitte, Oracle, TCS, Hyundai, ITC etc., The average salary package is 6 LPA.

The library has a wide range of books available and also e-resources are available which really helped during the lockdown time to access the textbooks. The cafeteria, auditorium, library are excellent. Also, there are many clubs in the college which are run by the students to interact about the trending topics in different management fields. Some of them are HR club, Operations Club, Finance Club, Social Club, Speak out Club, Cultural Club.

The admission process is very simple. Once the student has a score from any of the Entrance exam like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT,CMAT, ATMA. The application has to be submitted online through the official IPE website and the student will be informed about the further rounds of interview. The group discussions mainly includes current affairs topics and topics related to management field. Once the students clears the GD round, details will be emailed regarding the personal interview round.
