Best but crucial time of the life

Overall a good college with great exposure but a lack of technical events during the year round.

I had given MHT-CET where i had scored a 130 which was actually less according to the cutoff. But my determination lead me into this college via vacancy CAP 4 round (total luck). Status and huge campus was one of the reasons for me to opt this college.

Course is like normal mumbai university. But here you will see that the faculty is anytime better than other colleges nd there is a sense of discipline enforced due to which studies are good. But like any college there are some untolerable teachers. And extra curricular could have been given a more focus.

There is an arrangement of internship mela which is quite a good exposure but a little less than other colleges. You can its a so so college when it comes to internships. Usually people opt to get internships from outside on their own.

Major mass recruitment company is Accenture like any other mu college. Other good companies also visit our college like Morgan Stanley, Diebold, L&T, etc.

There are many events which are: Praxis (technical fest), Illusions (cultural), Sphurti (sports fest)Utsav (cultural fest), Prarambh (freshers)There are various societies too in which students can be a part of whether be it the organising team or just participation. Namely CSI (computer society of India), IEEE, ISTEThere are also many programs arranged like the learning beyond syllabus program and project displays, etc.

1 lac fees which is like any other college Various scholarships are also available where both marks and income are taken into account like dorabji trust fund. Tution fee waiver is also available for underprivileged.

Dorabji trust funds. It takes the marks and the income of your dad into account. Earlier they used to come in college but now they have a office in cst.

A huge exposure to the extra curricular activities is given in all the fests. For sports people there is a college team for football and basketball. Robotics events are held during techfests. All other things like debate during utsav and society events.

Hostel is fair enough when compared to other colleges. Its separate for girls and boys and strict timings for the students to enter the college at night. Mess food is good.

People here are very interactive and helpful. There is a vesit allumni that meets every year. During illusions and sphurti you interact with seniors a lot.

There is a huge gap between two exams during main exams. And this college takes 2 unit tests which are not hectic but because of that we get prepared for the finals.
