Remarks

The atmosphere of the college is really good. The labs are well equipped and the research opportunities provided are amazing. However the hostel facilities can be improved. Also the quality of the hostel food is bad

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum has been updated recently according to the current technological developments. The exam structure consists of 3 quizzes, 2 periodical tests and end semester exam along with few assignments, projects and lab assessments

Placement Experience

4

A lot of good companies appear for placements and a variety of job roles are provided. Especially our campus is near the IT hub in Bengaluru. Therefore we have a lot of companies coming to our campus. However not many internship opportunities are provided in our college

College Events

3.5

The year starts off with a fest for freshers called Kalakriti where all the newcomers get to showcase their talents. We have an annual technical fest known as Prabidhi and an annual cultural feat known as Kalanjali. There’s also a fest for school children to participate known as Aarohan. We have cultural and technical committees consisting of only students together known as Amritadhara. These students are those elected as Secretaries and Co/Secretaries for the various cultural and technical clubs available in our college. Events are conducted throughout the year by these clubs

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I joined the college the fees was feasible and pretty much affordable. But two years after that there was a fee hike. The fees almost got doubled because of which it has now become expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed a scholarship of 90% in my college. This scholarship is awarded to students on the basis of the rank secured in the entrance exam. This scholarship can be availed in the subsequent years only if the student secures a minimum of 8 GPA in the previous year

Campus Life

4

The college provides state of the art facilities in labs. All the labs are well equipped. There is a good participation in a variety of sports facilities offered by the college. The college has won many awards inter campus and inter collegiate sport competitions.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel infrastructure is good. On a scale of 10, I would give it an 8. But the food in the hostel is very bad. Both quality and taste are very poor. On a scale of 10, food gets a 5. Also there is a shortage of water in the hostel

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni and the senior students have always been very supportive. Time and again they have been very helpful in time of need. A lot of senior students and alumni are currently pursuing their higher studies abroad but still they have been in touch with the juniors.

Admission

All the students have to write an entrance exam to get the admission into the college. Based on the rank secured in this exam we get to choose the desired branch of study and also the campus of our choice

Faculty

4.5

The faculty are well qualified and experienced with most of them being Ph.D holders. There are a very few of them without Ph.D who are also currently doing their thesis and would be submitting them soon

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
