We do have an entrance exam which is AEEE which I had in the online mode because of covid otherwise it is offline. Students are also admitted on the basis of their jee mains percentile also there exists a management quota. AEEE usually consist of three phases which are held in June July and august You can write all three or choose the convenient month and write any one exam as per your wish after the AEEE rank will be announced on the amrita website www.amrita.edu seat allotment is through Csap for AEEE you can have all details available at www.amrita.edu

I chose this course because I was extremely curious about electronics and wanna study it in a detailed way the faculty-student ratio for my course in electronics and communication is 1:65 Most of the faculty here has a PhD in their subject and has work experience from well-known institutes and has also acquired their degree from the nation's top institutes the teaching method is through slides and we have labs for all main subjects for the practical application of the subject that is taught we have a midterm and then an end-semester exam in the first year. questions will be based on what is taught and on the assignments and quizzes conducted. for one who has a thorough knowledge of what the teachers have taught and if he has done assignments diligently it is a cakewalk to pass the exam and secure a good cgpa

we have a lot of companies offering internships like Microsoft amazon cognizant bosch etc the stipend is not mentioned and I am not aware about such thing because I am in the first year we have internships under different clubs join a club and be in touch with your senior to know about internships

6th-semester students are eligible for campus placements Microsoft amazon cognizant bosch TCS highest package 28 lakh per annum Microsoft average 4 lakh per annum 85percent students are placed I am opting for a higher degree in London

Based on your AEEE rank or you're jee mains percentile you may get a scholarship that here we have 4 fee slabs and 1 management quota that is slab 5, slab 1 students will have a fee around 1 lakh which goes on increase as it reaches slab 4 students have to maintain a Cgpa of 8.0 or above to continue in their fee slabs otherwise they will be moved down to the lower slabs where they have to pay a higher fee

there was no tech fest this year due to covid most of the books related to all courses are available also we have books on humanity and for students preparing for competitive exams books related to that is also available we have a smartboard a normal board and two fans for each row plus one for a teacher who will be standing on a raised platform we have sports competitions and extracurriculars for that we have clubs for any interest there is a club you name it there is a club for that AMFOSS IS A FAMOUS CODING CLUB BIOS CODE AT AMRITA AYUDH and there is a dance club

we have 3 seater rooms with common washroom in the first year and in the second year we have four seater rooms with common washrooms there will be a fan bed and study table with the chair will be provided balcony for each room no laundry service. the food here is okayish we do spot a lot of worms and insects in messy food even after complaining I didn't see any strict actions being implied On the menu we have noodles macaroni idli dosa Pongal poha rice chapathi curries we have sambhar rasam curd raitha pappad pickle soya paneer dal hostel registration is through the website and its quite easy it is affordable for the kind of service they provide
