To conclude, Jss Academy of Technical Education is a really good college, lush green campus, well maintained, there's a lake in it called Idly Lake. There are many restaurants close by for food, canteen and bakery inside the campus and an ATM right beside the entrance gate for the students to make withdrawals easily
Course Curriculum Overview
Cse is the most preferred branch of the rest because of more job opportunities. Pretty decent on campus placements. The engineering course is for a total of 4 years, each year comprises of 2 semesters, each semester end an exan will be conducted and the average of respective 2 semesters will be considered for the year (i.e. 1&2 semester for 1st year)
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities on campus are decent, mostly people from CSE get placed because for the rest of the branches they have to get into core companies otherwise the incentive will not be upto the mark
College Events
Each year comprises of two semesters, odd semesters mainly comprise of festival holidays and branch fests for each branch separately. Even semester a college fest know as VERVE is conducted where celebrities are invited to perform. Verve lasts for a total of three days and it's really fun
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee strict depends on the rank you've obtained in the entrance exams. In case of kcet there are various quotas under which the fees may vary, under comedk it's the same fees for everyone. If opting for management quota then you will have to pay the demanded amount of donation

The college mainly offers student loans free of interest which has to payed later when you get a job, which is definitely helpful for students who are not able to afford the entire fees. Depending on the category also you may get fee waiver from the government quotas
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities include various branch fests conducted once every year, sports, non technical events and many more. Laboratory for each branch is available, really well maintained and equipped
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are really helpful and cooperative, whatever it maybe they'll help you out, no ragging in this college cause it's a non bail able offense. Occasionally there are alumni meets who come from various fields to meet and teach the current studying students
Admission
To get admission into any of the colleges in karnataka, we need to write an entrance exam known as Kcet (Common entrance Test) consists of PCMB subjects, can opt to write biology or not depending on interested course. Based on the rank you can choose your college. I got admission through this and the cutoff for CSE in 2018 was 6k
Faculty
Faculty are well qualified, majority of them have pursued engineering and have completed their masters, some have done their PhD as well. All in all they're really friendly and supportive be it whatever
