Remarks

I think my college is very competitive as the cream of the country comes to our college, there is a tight competition. Other than that college life is not so good in certain branches like chemical engineering, electrical engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for chemical engineering is not so good, core related chapters are done mostly in the 3rd and 4th year which I believe should be in the 1st and 2nd year of the college. This will be important for students to decide whether to go for core or noncore.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario changes from time to time. I can easily say job opportunities are good in our college if you maintain a good CGPA. Internship opportunities are also available on our campus. Stipend ranges from 20000-100000 as per the company.

College Events

We have plenty of college events like Mood indigo is a 4-day cultural fest. It is said to be Asia's largest cultural fest. Then we have tech-fest, a 2-day fest all related to technology. Then we also have social body Abhuday, which also conducts its event in January. There are some department orientated fest too, like Azeotropy, Aakar, radiance

Fee Structure And Facilities

I think the fee at IITs is expensive. Currently, our fee is 2.7 lakhs per annum which is too high for a normal family. Then there are always other expenses like food and shopping for stationery and other products.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is plenty of scholarships available for students mostly for reserved categories. SC and ST can avail of national scholarships and students whose parental income is less than 4.5 lakh and are OBC and get MCM scholarship. There are some scholarship given by alumni of our college

Campus Life

Facilities are good for everything, be it any sport, labs, or extracurricular activities. You can enjoy the benefits of the gym, swimming pool, any sports equipment you require for free. There is no charge for any facility.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni relations are not that good but relationships with seniors are good. Seniors are very helpful. But that mostly depends on an individual how he/she approaches senior and how are there interacting skills.

Admission

Admission is done by giving JEE mains and clearing it with a rank below 1.5 lakh and then securing a good rank around 2000 in JEE advanced to get branch-like chemical and civil or secure a rank below 200 to get elec and mechanical

Faculty

I found out here that some faculty are very helpful. You can ask anything, may it personal, academics related, or anything. Some faculty put too much effort to teach students in the best way whereas a few were not that interested

Placement Experience:

The placements here are good. But if more diverse number of companies are coming , then it would be more beneficial for students. Te average package you can expect is 4lpa . The most number of students getting placed companies are seclore and sogolytics.

Placement Experience:

Good placements are offered by this college. Top companies like Tata Motors, Bajaj, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Wipro pari, etc. Average placement for mechanical branch is about 9lpa while that for computer and entc goes up to 15lpa.
