Remarks

We cannot compare our institution with IITs and Nits.In Kerala our institution is one of the best engineering college with huge campus in Kochi having huge placements. Our college is very strict compared to other government institutions.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course follows the KTU curriculum as its affiliated to KTU. KTU syllabus's greatest advantage is that it updates after every 4 years, thereby making it up to date. Exam structure is slightly complicated in KTU, with the paper evaluation also being strict.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is the greatest add on of this college with many prominent companies such as Verizon, Indian navy, TCS, Amazon etc coming for placement. The placement percentage is the college is also very high.

College Events

2

Being a typical private engineering college in Kerala, there are not many events conducted here and that handful of events are conducted without much pomp and splendor. There are 2 fests that happen in the college namely Bharatam which is a 3-day intro college arts fest and 2nd being the tech fest, they being either of Techkshetra which is a one-day event or Abhiyantrika which is a 2-day tech fest. They are held alternately every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Not feasible The fees structure of students who have secured ranks higher than 5000 in KEAM and have entered the college on management seat is 85000 rupees. There is a reduction in fees if the candidate and secured below 5000 ranks in KEAM or is under reservation quota. Candidates securing admission through NRI quota have to pay a donation in lakhs in addition to yearly fees which is around 2 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Lots of scholarships are provided by the collage for the meritorias students as well as for the students from backward classes and poor families. Usually the scholarship will at least 25000 per annum. The college offers scholarship to financially poor students.the college also offers scholarship to students attaing good marks every semester exam.i have not taken any loan.scholarships are given every semester

Campus Life

3

Physical education, sports and fitness is an integral part of the Rajagirian’s total educational programme. The athletically inclined can take advantage of Basketball Courts (with floodlight facility), Cricket Ground (in association with Kerala Cricket Association),Volleyball Court, Badminton Court, Throwball Court, Tennis Court and Indoor facilities (for Table Tennis). The campus has an excellent Fitness Centre with modern fitness equipment. Systematic training and coaching is offered for various games in the evenings throughout the year. The faculty of Physical Education organizes Inter-House Competitions to provide competitive experience, interactions with fellow collegians, teachers, juniors and seniors, to develop friendship, commandership and championship. Every year pioneer tournaments such as the Chavara Cup Inter-Rajagiri Basketball Tournament, the Rajagiri Trophy All Kerala Inter-Engineering Basketball Tournament, and the Rajagiri Corporate Cup Inter-Corporate Cricket Tournament are organized.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The mess fees and hostel fees are collected separately. The mess fees are 40000 rupees while double rooms with attached bathroom cost 70000 rupees while triple room cost 39000 rupees. The facilities and the mess are of high standards and is worth the fees paid.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is another weak link in the college with the network not every active enough. Seniors are friendly and helpful, with them almost not ragging juniors. Campus life is something that this college miss very much. There is limited interaction between the senior batches with the juniors, with almost no ragging occurring. There exist a healthy gender ratio in branches of ECE, CSE, IT and CE, while in AEI, EEE boys are more in number and in ME girls are almost nonexistent.

Admission

University admission or college admission is the process through which students enter tertiary education at universities and colleges. Systems vary widely from country to country, and sometimes from institution to institution. In many countries, prospective university students apply for admission during their last year of high school or community college. In some countries, there are independent organizations or government agencies to centralize the administration of standardized admission exams and the processing of applications.

Faculty

3

Faculty Faculty of the college is above average, with many of them being Ph. D graduates or pursuing it. Faculty does take the pain to explain us the concepts. Some of the faculty are research scholars, thereby giving us an industrial dimension to our subjects.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably
