Remarks

It is a very good college. If you have very good rank in KEAM you get admission to the college. There are many Cultural activities and sports events which keep the college life on. The academic activities provided is pretty good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is good. There will be 8 semesters Btech course. In each there will be two series exam and one semester exam conducted at the end of each semester. Different credits are given for different subject and according to the marks in each subject gpa is calculated. If he scores more in higher credited subject then he will get higher gpa.The minimum pass mark is 45% iof the total marks

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are good compared to other colleges in Kerala. The placement ratio in CS is more than 1 per student. In mechanical, electrical and electronics engineering the placements are pretty good but those who get placement in the core company is less. The architecture department is one of the best in India and is ranked below 5 in NIRF ranking.

College Events

3.5

There are many events celebrated in College. The Cultural fest 'Dhwani' ,Technical fest 'Drishti' , Art fest 'Sargam' are some of the main events conducted here. There is a event named 'Disha' which is exclusively for first years. Apart from these many departmental and interdepartmental fests are being conducted

Fee Structure And Facilities

According to me the fee structure is feasible. For each a student have to pay around Rs 8000 each semester. If he is a hosteler then for the mess ,rent and other charged would be around Rs 3500 per month. Most of the students have scholarships so these fee structure is not a burden

Fees and Financial Aid

There are different scholarships available here. Those who are from SC /ST and those OBC people below annaul income of Rs 100000 gets e-grantz. There are several other scholarships such as MCMS for the minority community such as Muslims and Christian. There is Association for Aluminies of CET called CETAA. They also provide scholarship for those who have less income.

Campus Life

4

Here very good support is give for extra curricular activities. We have a very Cricket Team and Softball who are the university champions for the last two years and we have basketball team who are interzone finalists. Football, TableTennis, Handball, Netball,Batminton, Chess are the other games which we have a good team who secured very good postion in interzone matches.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Here you have a very good Men's hostel. I could say about Men's hostel only as I am a MHite. Hera you have all facilities. Here the food provided is much better than the food available outside (the food menu is prepared by student itself) There is a gym for fitness freaks. There are grounds for different sports such football, batminton, cricket, basketball ,volleyball etc. There is TV room for those who need to watch it.

Alumni/Alumna

The aluminies and senior students are very helpful. There is a association for Aluminies called CETAA. They do different things for CET such as they provide scholarship for the poor students in the college. For College fests and different clubs they donate several funds.

Admission

The combined marks of physics Chemistry and Maths in +2 and Keam marks are criteria for getting admission.According to those marks they will put ranklist and according to the ranks secured we get different courses in different colleges

Faculty

3.5

They are good. Those who have post graduated and those who have done pg are here for teaching. But under the short span it is difficult for them to clearly make us understand the subject and to cover the entire subject.

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.
