Remarks

Overall remarks is satisfactory. College campus related everything is ok. But hostel needs to be improved. College is very good for studying MBBS and MD. It has Very good campus. Neatness needs to be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

MBBS curriculum consists of 4 years in which after final year there will be internship.the exam pattern consists theory two papers for 100marks each and practical for 40 marks viva voce for 40 marks.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are very good in Kims. There are plenty of pg seats and one of the best institutes in Karnataka. There is an internship of 1yr in which stipend of 15000INR will be paid per month.Overall very satisfactory.

College Events

4

There are plenty of events throughout the year. Synergia- an intercollege academic fest. Kalaspandana - intracollege cultural fest. All National festivals. Ganesha festival for 5 days. Freshers day. KIMS Kannada habba.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very much feasible that is college fees -11750 rs including library fees sports and tution fees. Hostel and mess fees- 30000rs but management is very corrupt. They take money for minute work to be done.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed e- pass scholarship for OBC category. I have been obtaining this scholarship from first year itself. One can apply for 3years in undergraduate course. Other scholarships are MHRD scholarship , post metric scholarship for SC AND ST students.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel really worst. They are of 60-70 years old blocks. No proper ventilation. No neatness in washroom. And no proper drinking water and hot water time to time. Food is also not satisfactory. Overall rating is 5/10.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, alumni network and senior students are very helpful. They guide the juniors in correct path to study. They teach all Do's and Dont's. They teach if one has any doubts. Very co operative and helpful in deed.

Admission

I got admission through Common entrance test. After verification of documents in nearest certified place admission was done in college itself. There you need to submit all required documents and sign for bond for rural service.

Faculty

4.5

Facilities of college are too responsive and supportive. They teach in full enthusiasm and make every student understand the concepts. Teachers are far better than elsewhere. Doubts will be clarified easily by them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
