Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The exam structure is really good there, easy to pass the exam if studied on regular basis. Although its vary from stream to stream ,i mean load of subject. About my course,i think its still need some improvement by mean summer training.

Placement Experience

2

Placement are decent are there. I mean from engineering they just focus on CS while i talk about MBA ,placement are really good. In my curriculum we have to do summer internship on our own. Thats it

College Events

2.5

Hostel night, Spectrum , College Fest, Diwali mela, Basant panchmi, Lohori celebration, The only limitation is that classes continue even these events going on in the university

Campus Life

2

Some labs are good while other aren't. Still enough to do experiments. Sports activities are always going on the campus. Teachers are also supportive for sports.

Admission

There are many ways such as online, offline. But i got admission by offline way. I just go their and take few documents such as my +2 marksheet copy, 10th marksheet copy, migration certificate, jee mains results copy, and few other requireds.

Faculty

3

The faculty is good and supportive. All are well qualified and full of knowledge, although maximum of them just focus on theory. Otherwise all are good. As i talk about my own department all are so much supportive and careing.

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
