DAV's Student Life

I am enrolled here in Technical course . There are lots of option in these like offering different specifications: AI,ML Data Science, The curriculum offered here is in collaboration with Tech giants such as SAP, Intel Technolgies etc.

The college offers placements generally in the field of Web development, Web Designing, UI/UX . The companies are from Tier 1 cities like Chandigarh, Gurgaon which means to have a great start in a well established company.

Total yearly fees is around 1lakh 30 thousand without availing hostel facilities and I hostel is availed then 80 thousand is total hostel fees per year. New Student also get scholarship if they are from dav schools. And study whose parents are in army also get 10 percent of fees waiver for first year only.

The university has numerous societies and social clubs. The clubs and society includes Literary club, Singing and Dancing club , NSS , NCC etc . These societies provides a lot of Extra Curricular Activities to hone up your interpersonal skills .

Currently, the Hostel Charges are around 90K for a 3 seater room . The mess food is just eatable, enough to survive. If you don't want to take Hostel, then in Kishangarh there are plenty of PGs offering food and accommodation. PGs food is good as comparable to Hostel.

I had a cousin who was studying here . He recommended me to take admission here . The college is on National Highway which makes it easy to commute here . The college has good computer labs at par with other colleges, having excellent network connection.

Since it is a university, the exams are internally checked by the teacher on campus which reduces any kind of stress regarding error in evaluation, delays in paper checking. Talking about the faculty, there is almost 2-3 teachers for every subject with different levels of expertise: Associate professor, Assistant professor and Professor. I liked many teachers here , like in CSE department there is a faculty who had studied from NIT. There is Mid Semester examination followed by the End Semester examination at the end . The exam pattern is often same to the Previous Year.

The University organises a National Level Entrance examination ,DAVUNEST basis on which it provides scholarships to the meritorious students. If you fail to give this examination or fails in it , need not worry, you can still get admission in the university. There is nothing like interview as such required for getting an admission.

The university's Student Center functions up from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM in the evening. Hostel students can hangout with the warden's outpass as a permission till 5:00 PM. The university has a Gym on the campus itself with a bare minimum monthly charges. So the overall night life is great .
