My college My experience

Honestly college was good and environment also beautiful infrastructure and classes friendly faculties encouraging management.but placements was not up to the mark this is the only negative I have to tell please provide more opportunities for the students that will be helpful for students and college also.

I selected electronics and communication engineering where I had interested in that course. The curriculum of the course was good they have set equally for all the subjects we have full day classes during 1st and 2nd year of engineering later it's depends on the labs. Other than this we have done so many activities and workshops during our course that will helps to get some leadership qualities and confidence for us. The exam structure was changed totally for us VTU had made CBCS (choice based credit system) from our batch that is 2015 batch, we have 5 modules for each subjects and each subject has its own credits and labs also finally we'll got overall credits based on our marks 10-s+ 9-s 8-7-A 6-7-B+ 5-6-B like that overall it will be a good decision because we'll learn all the topics in the book.

When we are in 1st year of engineering the placements for the final year students was good college provided many opportunities and many of them got placed in top companies like TCS, Wipro, Global edge, Tech Mahindra etc, but later onwards the placements opportunities also become less and students getting placed also less when I was in final year only 2-3, companies has good other than that all are not up to the mark We have attend almost off campus only. College didn't provide any internship till now, don't know the reason.

During my first year many events are celebrated in our college like national festivals, college fest was very good in first year they have arranged many events like dance, singing, skit, mad acts, cooking without fire, cricket, football, kabbadi, volleyball etc. first year fest was very nice and events in that also was good but rather than this next 3, years of fest was not up to the mark. But apart from this many events was done in our college like engineer's day, Bhagat Singh's birthday etc.

The fees structure was feasible compared to the other colleges But students who have entered through management quota would be bare more money and students entered through govt quota have lesser than them because of ranking based admission. But compared to other colleges it's feasible.

Ya I have got 4 years scholarship and college will support well for that and many of the students on our college got the scholarships. Account section will take care of all the scholarship related issues apart from this college will provide coupon for top 5 students from every classes and for every semester to encourage students. and I have applied student loan outside college that is private bank through DD I had paid them every year.

Extracurricular was good.labs are well maintained in our college and staff are helpful we have done many activities in our department during this 4 years like workshop like IoT, VLSI, robotics etc and some pencil sketching, drawing and literature related events.And coming to the sports we have beautiful cricket ground but we'll not play all the time during fest time tournament will be held and also kabbadi, volleyball, football etc. college supported students who interested to go for vtu events.

Ya obviously I have got many seniors as my friends they are helpful during our college days for academic purposes also and other than also still I connected with them. They were very helpful in guiding us and also we have enjoyed a lot in many situations they are all good memories.

I have written CET exam that is common for all the students based on the ranking got in that exam I applied for this course in this college and I got seat for this course. Admission process is based on ranking I got through the CET and college management will go through the rankings will set one date for that and call for the documents verification and the admission process.

In our department faculty was very helpful and student friendly lectures they not helpful in academics apart from that they also helps in non academic activities also we have done many workshops during 2nd year and 3rd year of engineering that will added extra advantage for us.the faculty members are supportive in every aspect of academics and also in extra curricular activities also.
