LIT is having very good Placement and Job opportunities many famous and big brands visits college for campus drive Near 35-45 companies visits LIT for recruitment and all companies are core chemical engineering and chemical technology companies offering quite good packages.

Two cultural events n many tech fest are celebrated in LIT laxminarayan day is celebrated in honour of Rao Bahadur D Laxminaraya the mega event is National chemical engineering and technology conference REACT is orgnzsed in month of february. Also Microtechnovista, surfocoranza conferences, IIChE Lectures, seminars are organized. Many people from other colleges can participates in it cultural event like Ganesh Festival Celebration, and Gathering event lite is also celebrated with huge enthusiasm.

LIT is well known Institute for chemical engineering and technology, its state goverment college, only getting admission in this college are the CAP round and fees are very much feasible. Also hostel facilities n every thing is also good and best to the price.

Maharashtra e-scholarship is provided to many needy students, also minority and other scholships are available for students. College already having very low fees n quite affordable so they dont provide any scholarships.

LIT is having very beautiful campus situated in 500 acres of land college is on top of the hill having very good infrastructure, different streams buildings, canteen, different laboratories, Library, workshop, lawn, cafe, sstationary etc gender ratio is nealy same, and college is not having any dress code, but very cultural in lit all people are at same same level its a Prestigious institution since 1942 and still follows its long lasting traditions.

LIT is goverment undertaking college so the hostel are not as good as private college hostelS but, having spacious, clean and everything is provided what is required food also good hostel is equipped with 24/7 wifi facility, electricity, TV, parking space

Its only alumni and senior which are keeping LIT's Brand still at the top alumnis of LIT are spread all over world many of them are at highet position,many started there own industries and all of them have contributed in making LIT brand on top we have the interactive sessions with our alumnis at Laxminarayan day celebration in LIT they exchange lot of information, experiences, and knowledge.
