Remarks

The college is good for learning but it has to be taken care of that students have to do something extra to stand out from the rest of the students. Overall the college environment is good and clean and modern.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is set by vtu and hence is a bit outdated, exam follows 60-40 scheme 60 marks external and 40 internal. Question paper will be of 100 marks which is scaled to 60 to calculate GPA. Internals consists of 3 IATs for 30 marks and 10 marks assignment.

Placement Experience

Placements for CSE department is excellent, proper training is given and preparation is done, college brings companies to offer internships with stipend during 3rd year. Stipend ranges from 10000-20000 for the duration.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships based on merit and financial status which is used to waive off a certain percentage of fees. There are scholarships for sc/st quota and sports quota. And a scholarship based on merit.

Campus Life

Labs are well maintained, sports equipment are available and the infrastructure is really nice. There are 2 basketball courts, 1 volleyball court, cricket nets and ground, football ground, kabaddi mat and badminton court.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are seniors help us in identification of path moving forward and how to approach various situations. Many alumni help in bringing companies for placements to college which is a reason for the high placement percentage in our college.

Admission

I got in through CET, after 2nd round of councelling, I got the seat, then I took the admission order to college and got myself admitted. The ranking required for computer science (my branch) is below 7000.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is well qualified and smart, they can solve the doubts of students and are very friendly, faculty help out students with research mentorship as well. Hackathons and competitions are very much encouraged. The faculty are punctual.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements in our college to company like Amazon and infosys.students become eligible for campus placements for 6 or 7th semester.i think so minimum package is 8 lakhs per year and max is 35-50 lakhs.it depends on the way students give their interview the percentage of students getting placement might be somewhere around 30-35 percent.i have some start-up ideas such as real estate or hostel business

Placement Experience:

The placements ar pretty good, with top companies attending them. Companies such as Goldman Sachs, google, microsoft etc participate in them. The highest package goes around 56lpa, the average for cse being around 28lpa. 95% of them are placed.
