Course Curriculum Overview

The department of Electronics and Telecommunications is one of the oldest in the college and is one of the most sought after courses. The department is equipped with state of art, ultra-modern and sophisticated labs. The laboratories cater to the requirements of curriculum and beyond the curriculum learning. The modern test and measuring instruments are available in the labs along with training kits. There are 130 computers connected in LAN. The internet connectivity is provided in all classrooms and labs through LAN and Wi-Fi. There are number of softwares like Matlab, Labview, Xilinx, Multisim, Microwind etc. to cater to simulation and design automation needs.

Placement Experience

The Training and placement cell is very proficient in providing placements to the Final year students. Their objectives are as follows: To develop flexible training module from first year to last year to cater to the need of a bright engineering future. To achieve placement of 80% AIT students in core high end industries and overall placement of 100%, by the year 2020 AD. To coordinate effective and systematic soft skills, personality development and industry specific training for all AIT students, so that they pass out with high employability skills.

College Events

The college has more than 15 clubs run by the third year students which involve all areas of technical, cultural and sports events. To make each final year candidate employable so that he/she can start good career in IT, ITeS, Consulting, Manufacturing, Engineering and Automotive industries, by conducting effective training modules. To provide excellent placement opportunities to most of the students by inviting leading industries from all domain for campus recruitment. To establish a good liaison with maximum industries who have academic connect for GET hiring, internships and sponsored projects. To sustain and enhance alumni interaction in best possible ways like annual alumni meet, regional meet and interactive sessions.

Campus Life

Life at AIT AIT benefits from its location on the outskirts of Pune in that it is not plagued by air and noise pollution and that the ample space allows for planned expansion. The largest building is the Academic Block, which houses the lecture halls, most laboratories, offices for the administration and an auditorium. The lawn in front of the Academic Block is the first view that visitors to the campus have, and is; one of the preferred spots for a sit-down in the evenings. On either side of this centre are located the hostels for students and residential quarters for staff.

Admission

Got into AIT through JEE MAINS. The college releases a merit list of all the students who applied on the basis of their JEE MAIN marks.The students apply in the month of December every year, AIT releases the merit list in the month of May every year.Army Institute of Technology, Pune (AIT) is an undergraduate engineering college affiliated to the University of Pune. AIT is located at Dighi Hills, Alandi Road area in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Only wards of army personnel are allowed admission. The admission is done through JEE MAINS exam. AIT functions under the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) and has the seniormost officer of the Indian Army, the Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army (COAS), as the President of its Board of Governors.

Prepare students to be successful team members or team leaders and conduct themselves with integrity and incorporate proper ethical considerations in their work.

The students become eligible in the 7th semester itself The company for aeronautical is Hi-Tech which is a best company. The average package is 125000 It's almost 70% because most of the students are going for higher studies My plan is to go for higher studies

From 7 semester students become eligible for csmpus placements. Highest package goes to 4 crores and average up till 23.5 lakhs. I would sit for placements after my degree. Placements percentage is almost 95 percent.

I choose computer engineering because I am very passionate about computers and Coding skills. Our faculty is very helpful. All teachers did the master's in the relevant field so it will be more beneficial for students. Our term exams are organized by Pune University.

First-year is the same for all. then we get separated branch-wise for future brief studies as per interest. we have qualified Ph.D. holder facilities for guidance. and then we have experienced lab staff. We have 20 marks on internal exams and 80 marks in theory writing. also, assignment and attendance marks are separately included in it.

At the time of conclusion I would like to say that Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi college is best college and also its good for all branches but generally iam from civil department so my recommendation for all students to join our college specially for those who can make future in civil work and serve our nation.
