The campus is located in the NCR which provides it one of the best connectivity with rest of the country. Also it is located in one of the best locality. All the necessities hospital market metro etc are in close proximity ( also available Inside the campus). The campus is strictly bounded by the local colonies which and has almost utilised all of its land space so there is no possibility of expanding it physically which is now a challenge.

IIT Delhi has one of the best course structure in India and it keeps updating the course structure as per the current need of the industries around the world. The emphasise is on teaching the basic and then learning through research work. One can choose subject as per their interest from a group for subjects. The course structure is very flexible. There are 2 minor and 1 major exam in every semester. The exam pattern and the marking scheme is defined by the course/subject instructor itself. Assignment are given at frequent interval which are also considered during the final results. There is no space fir plagiarism in the Institute.

It has a great placement record. Training and Placement cell here ensures placement of every student that fulfills the eligibility criterion of the recruiters ( CGPA). The Averages package ranges from 12-18 LPA (depending of the course). The no of recruiter are hard to count. All leading companies of the world visit here. You think of any firm and it is a recruiter here. Also the scenario of paid internship is very good. As they are the leading firms in their fields the work experience there is very nice. The work culture is very professional and the learning is done basically though practical application mostly. The same recruiters visit for interns also. They offer internship stipend of upto 2-3 lakhs.

Event are distributed throughout the academic calendar. They cover a wide range of events. Sports: Inter IIT sports meet, Inter hostel tournaments covering athletic badminton TT football, cricket, lawn tennis, swimming, squash, basketball, etc Cultural fest: Rendezvous in the main cultural fest. Which includes dramatics music instrumental art literary several tech and non tech workshops. DJ and band night. Celebrity nights. Eminent speakers and talk shows. Several other renounced personality visit the campus every month for some events or talk shows. The facilities for extra curricular activities it top notch. The institute is govt funded so the fees here is quite less than most of the institutes also there are several scholarships available. One has to pay fee semester wise. The fee differs from course to course. Ranging from Rs.26000 - Rs.60000 per semester It is very feasible.

The college has 2 banks inside in it that makes it easy for one to apply for loan. During the admission time several banks set up their stall to provide with different kinds of aids. Also the institute has a good reputation therefore it is quite easy to get loan. There are enormous no of scholarships available for study in India as well as fir those who wish to continue their studies in foreign countries also. The criteria for scholarship differs for every scholarship, generally based on Academic records, social or economic background, sports, caste, gender, branch, course, etc.

The labs are well equipped there no such facility that the institute lacks. All labs have all the equipments required by the course and also that students might need for their research work. Paid versions of All necessary softwares are provided to every student. The equipment are updated from time to time. The facilities for extra curricular activities it top notch. Hostel facility is also very nice. It has a air conditioned common room, Gym, badminton and basketball courts, table tennis high speed internet connectivity, clean washrooms, the mess food is not only hygienic but tasty and healthy also, prepared by trained professionals. The hostels are airy and well ventilated with lots of greenery around. Hostel fee is around Rs.10500 with mess fee extra calculated as per the expense made by the mess. Nearly Rs.120 per day

It has one of the strong alumni network. Several workshops and events are organised to keep the network updated and strong. Talk shows are organised which has the top position alumni as the guest speakers. Inputs from them is taken for the improvement of the curriculum and other development of the institute. A separate Dean is appointed for the alumni network.

Qualified GATE exam which is generally conducted for Engineering Graduates. One can apply for masters course through COAPS portal. COAPS is a platform for applying for Masters courses in IITs. Applicants are shortlisted for personal Interview as per the.merit list, then the Final merit list is prepared. And the call letters are offered.

It has one of the best faculties in the country. There are more than 700 faculty ( permanent and visiting). Most of them are graduates from top foreign universities and some are authors of some of the best books that are available in their fields of specialisation. The level of faculty here is second to none in the country
