Remarks

It has good facilities and all things are already mentioned in the previous questions. Along with education and academics extra activities are also there in a large amount. There are hostels also provided.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's very informative. There are 3 exams held in a semester. One is in the middhe of the semester for 30marks 2nd is in the last month of the semester which is also for 30 marks and the last is a jury that is a display of your work which is of 40 marks which makes it a total of 100.

Placement Experience

Placements are centralised in all over India. Internships are provided. I am in second year so I have no experience. After 3rd yr only one does internships. There are in campus as well as off campus placements.

College Events

New year, holi, annual fest spectrum, Onam, Ganesh chaturthi, Janmashtami, Durga Puja, garba, diwali, Vishwakarma Puja, converge annual inter college competition these are all the festivities celebrated here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure here is expensive but less than private institutions. They charge a sum of 12 lakhs in 4 years plus 2 lakhs for stationery items like paper, Scales, Colours, Scissors, tapes, boards.

Fees and Financial Aid

If your family income is below 9 lakh per annum then only one can opt for scholarships. There are divisions in them too like 75 percent scholarship 50 Percent scholarship and 25 percent scholarships.

Campus Life

There are labs for every department. Metal labs, wood labs, garment construction labs, textile labs, it labs, and many other according to the various departments available here. The labs are well maintained.

Alumni/Alumna

Faculties are helpful but not all some have good connections in the industry whereas some do not. Senior students surely help but few are not helpful as well they love to irritate their juniors. This is a regular fact of every college.

Admission

Firstly in the month of October we get the applications online after which we have to fill them annd submit by November end. By December we get our registration cards then we get a date for our 1st exam that is the CAT and GAT. This happens in the month of January. Its a written plus creativity testing exam. The results for this is declared in the month of March. In April is the second part of the entrance exam that is the situation test where we get to make 3d models within a given time and materials. The results come out in may end or june. After that happens the counselling in which one decides where he wants to go according to their rank.

Faculty

It's mixed up with good faculties and even lazy faculties. My department faculties are pretty good in their job whereas in other department faculties are a bit inefficient in their respective jobs. AD and TD and Bftech department are very good here.

NSUT review as a first year student

Placement Experience:

students get elligible for campus placement in the fourth year. Although have heard some students say to focus more on skills as working in a studio will be better than placement and have also not heard such good news about the amount of students getting placement. my plans too is to focus on skills more than the grades as that would be more helpful and is whats needed more for the career i am going for, instead of the marks i got on writing theory in my answer sheets

Placement Experience:

Speaking about placements I have very little knowledge about it as I am in first year, but after engaging with some really helpful seniors there has been a good hype in the campus placements and I've also heard very reputable companies have accepted students from this college. Also to mention the most important part of this college is it has a 99% placement program which really stood out to me, while talkin to the administrative staff my interest piqued when I heard there was a student who got 12lakh per annum placement opportunity

The real designing college

Placement Experience:

College placements are good enough. A whole week is dedicated to that. Students get enough opportunities throughout the course and are offered jobs in 4th year. Even after that if placement hasn't happened, the college faculties have enough contacts.

The insiders of NIFT delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to opt for something related to marketing side or more like something that requires digital work. The faculty:student ratio is 1:40 in my batch. My faculty is very knowledgeable. I have a good experience in teaching (not all but mostly) with them. The term exams are timely scheduled and it is not easy to pass a exam but it is not also very difficult. If you work consistently throughput the semester you would score a good grade in the end.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligiblr for campus placements from 4th year. But you can get PPOs if are good. You can get exciting internships from 2nd year. Very big companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart etc come for placements. A total of 1300 jobs were offered in 2023. 260 PPOs and 30 international offers very also there.

NIFT Delhi - A total walkthrough

I had applied for CEED and didn't qualify. And in NIFT exam I secured the rank 30 and got nift delhi as its the best campus of all over nift. I took this campus. You need to complete any bachelor's background for this exam. They only accept nift entrance scores. Admission experience is pretty smooth as everything is online. And cutoffs varies every year. A Glimpse into NIFT New Delhi

I didn't apply for any other colleges. I just got to know about nift only. I just wanted to pursue my career in arts and fashion. Also if I would have known about NID I might applied for that only. Because the product designing I'm doing here is way better there than here. Also to get into NIFT Delhi's B.Des. (Accessory Design) program, you'll need to ace the entrance exam, which includes a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). Life in NIFT

Nift is a government College and the fee for it is the least compared to the other fashion colleges. I didn't not apply to even a single other college since I thought I'll just give it a try and fortunately I got in in the first go itself. But I did apply for the uceed exam , my score was 50 marks less and I couldn't make it for that exam . The uceed exam was way tricky than the nift entrance. Nift has a simple admiss Process, you apply for the exam. You give the CAT and GAT exams which are scheduled on the same day itself of 2hrs and 3hrs respectively. Cat is the drawing exam and the gat is for the science maths gk social science etc knowledge test. After you pass this exam then you get selected for the situation test which is a studio based test where you get the materials and 3hrs and you have to then make something with the give material and the provide topics. Then you get a rank Accor to which you sit for the counselling and get the admission in one of the 19 campus in india...Read More
