Remarks

The college is a very nice college in the Malappuram district well known for the remarks made my college in each and every field of academics and extracurricular activities. It also has heritage campus which is eco friendly well protected and safe for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Nice course curriculum. The syllabus is also very nice. There are also additional activities to the students rather than the academics which creates a social commitment among the students. Some example s are there and the majn example is the CUSSP.

Placement Experience

4

The College associates with various online teams and arranges internship and stipend facilities for the students. It’s really helpful for the students because they are able to get a pocket money and financial support for study projects.

College Events

5

Freshers day is the first celebrated programme which welcomes the new comers to the college. Then time by time there are a lot of events celebrated. Onam celebrations are conducted, xmas celebrations are conducted, eid celebrations are conducted and time by each department works and conducts their own programmes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is Govt.Aided college there is no fees for studies. There is only a little fees when we take admission. I hope it will be just around 12000 that we will be having to spend to complete a three year bachelors degree there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college arranges for various facilities to avail each and every scholarship for the students. There are various scholarships offered by the Govt as well as independent organisations to support the education. The college management also provides scholarships for students who arwle financially backward.

Campus Life

4.5

There are various facilities for the extracurricular activities for the students in the college. There is sports area for practoce of various sports like kabadi and such. There is also large ground for football and cricket and basketball practice.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a well alumni network for the students. There is a committeee working on it. Which includes teachers management staff as well representatives from the students. As well as the college union supports these type of alumni meets and programmes.

Admission

I got admission through the single window system of the calicut university. After my 10+2 the admisssion link was opened and we all were asked to sign up and then the provisional list came first and then the first allotment list and hence i was admitted.

Faculty

5

They are all well qualified certified professionals. I think the minimum qualification to be a teacher in a college is a post graduation with a NET. And everyone around there is well qualified hence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
