I took the MH-CET exam for applying to the institute. I had an option to choose between COEP (Electrical branch) and VIT(Electronics branch) and chose this institute as the college is known for Electronics and Mechanical branches. Moreover it was getting autonomous and that helps us in grading and choosing the courses we want to take up.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since it is an autonomous college, the courses are upto to the mark according to industry standards. The students had the choice to select their electives and explore them.
Internships Opportunities
No internship then in 2009 year.
Placement Experience
Good placement committee which handled the placements across various branches. We were given options to hold upto 3 offers giving us the flexibility to choose companies based on our priorities. They also provided us instructions and helped us prepare for the placement process.
College Events
We used to organize yearly Technical and cultural events where students were actively involved in various activities giving them a great platform to showcase their talents in various fields.
Fees and Financial Aid
They do offer scholarships, but i am not aware of it much.
Campus Life
It has a good ratio of girls and boys and believe in equality. The college gave us a platform to showcase our talents and explore them more. Culturally very rich and suits all kinds of students from various economic statuses. Our college participated in many Inter-college drama competitions in Pune and have won many awards.
Exam Structure
Since it was getting autonomous, we had regular exams which was good to study the courses well instead of last minute studies when exams happen in 3-4 months. Internal exams were considered and taken seriously as it being an autonomous college.
