Remarks

Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Engineering is quite decent college. Yes, it does have scope of improvement. The responsibility authority is also trying for that. It is a college with a good and diverse crowd and the crowd is very energetic and enthusiastic about every thing happening here.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course Curriculum is quite good. It follows CBCS format. Engineering branches are namely Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering. This is a 4 year course program. During first year, the subjects for all the branches are same and from 2nd year, subjects are branch specific. Every semester does have 5 subjects and another subject as PSD, which is an English and aptitude paper.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and job opportunities are actually good. The college provides placement to the eligible students. By eligible students, it means student who is pass in all subjects and has C.G.P.A. of 6.5 or 7, whatever is decided by the company. Further, the companies coming for placement are Infosys, TCS, LTI, Capegemi etc.

College Events

3.5

College does have various departments and clubs. Every club does conduct their own event. The college has events like E-summit, hackathon, paper presentations, poetry slam, open mic, basketball competition, football competition etc. The major clubs and cells of the college are literary council, E-cell, Rapshody( street drama club), college band, vaqif( another college band), Network Security Group, dance group etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of the college is very feasible. One has to pay the fees yearly, unlike colleges which take fees semester wise. The fees for last joined students was 1 lakh and 20 thousands, which is quite less than another engineering colleges of India. The fee has got tution fee. There are other fees like exam fees, convocation fees etc whi is told to be submitted when required.

Fees and Financial Aid

The loans offered to students aren't specifically by the college but by the University. There are few other loans too that can be availed by the students. The information is sent to us and we are given the specific guidelines and information regarding the same.

Campus Life

3.5

The extracurricular activities, labs and sports are decent. The University does excel a lot in terms of sports infrastructure. It has its own basketball courts, indoor badminton courts, Cricket ground, table tennis court, vollyball ground etc.

Alumni/Alumna

The allumni network is great of Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Engineering. It conducts an yearly meet for allumni. They do discuss on current scenario and ways they can contribute to current students. They do provide many opportunities like industrial visits, guest lectures, etc. This whole campus is ragging free. Seniors are very helpful in terms of notes and students actually feel at home. Senior students make sure that the freshers doesn't feel odd to leave home and come to totally new place. They help in terms of notes, locality, places to live and also about the rules of college.

Admission

I gave CET for this college. The Common Entrance Test was of medium level difficulty. It comprised questions from Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. After clearing the exam, i got a decent rank. After which, counselling date and letter was sent to me. I attended the counselling and got Electronics branch.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of college is very diverse. It has a few professors which has done M. Tech and a few with PhD. degree too. They do use presentation as well as chalk and paper method for teaching. These faculties are quite knowledgeable and do have their own projects too. They provide students with industrial trips ans project ideas. Faculties also help in conducting various events too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing a B.Tech in Computer Science stems from a strong interest in technology. The coursd curriculam is appealing due to its well-rounded structure, covering a wide range of computer science topics like Artificial Intelligence. The flexibility to choose elective courses aligns with personal interests. The faculty, recruited through a rigorous process, is well-qualified. They use various teaching methods, including lectures and practical activities. While the faculty-to-student ratio is good, seeking feedback from students can provide insights into teaching styles. Exams occur every 2.5 months, balancing mid and end-semester assessments. The weightage distribution between exams and internal assessments is favorable, allowing a holistic evaluation. Here placement is average as many opt for higher studies the reason behind this is maybe because only a few companies visit. In which TCS is a mass recruiter. The average package here is 3-4 lakh per annum and the highest goes up to 6lakhs per annum. Here placement ratio is about 50%. I will also opt for higher studies after getting a degree
