A college you need

The college doesn't force the students to complete their 75% attendance criteria instead leave them on their own to take part in various activities. Some faculty might disturb you sometime but this is a regular thing happening in each college.

The course curriculum is good but not upto the mark according to the trending technologies. It give us insight of many fundamentals of our branch but many important Technology are missed. But overall I rage it as a good curriculum. In each semester there are two sessional exams whose scores are used for marking the internal scores of theory subject. Then comes the semester exam which carry 75% scores of theory subject. Fir practical subject internal & external practical are carried out for each subject for 40% & 60% scores respectively.

In our college internships are not provided by the college themselves. The Placement cell will tell you about the internship opportunities available currently but they will not help you in getting their. The placements are good considering it is a Semi-Government college. Placements are not up to the mark but I say them good because they will land you into the industry & after working their for some time , the rest is upto the student himself.

Fee structure is affordable - It is 1.15 lakhs per year. If you consider the other government college in the GGSIPU university then it is a little expensive from them. But keeping in mind that the college is run by a private society and the kind of facilities available in the college the fee expense is justified.

College provide the fee assistance for the student belonging to the lower income group. They give monetary reward to the students scoring good at the end of each year. Also the GGSIPU university has a merit based scholarship program in which financial assistance is provided to student with family income less than 6LPA.

As I said our college have all kinds of extracurricular activities ranging from the fields of sports to the cultural ones. Sports activities performed in college are - cricket, badminton, basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, & athletics. The activities are performed very well with active participation from students & management.

Our college has a big alumni network which join us every year in yearly alumni meet. All the senior of our college are very helpful & encouraging. Apart from the personal meet if you met any alumni on social media then he or she will be ready to help you everytime.

The GGSIPU university conduct an entrance test for all students to get admission into any college affiliate by University. I have given the entrance & got a very good rank to ensure my admission in the Top2 college of the university with my desired branch of interest. After the entrance result is out you are given a rank based on your performance which is used during the councelling process.

The faculty is good except for a few. All the faculties have a very good knowledge of their respective subject but the mid-aged & old faculty doesn't seem interested in teaching their subjects. Whereas the young faculties are great in their teaching approach. But their is one culture in college that every faculty will help you if you reach them with your problems.
