College with good values

The positive thing about the university is that it has vision which it wants to accomplish before 2030 and negative about the university that it lacks proper funds from the government in order to boost this vision.

The cource curriculum consits is continous and comprehensive evaluation. The exam structure consits of 4 test. The first consits of 25 marks , second 40 marks , third 25 marks and fourth 60 marks. Thier is a relative grading in the calculation of CGPA.

As the university is not in well established urban area the placement and job opportunities are not so well. But the university is trying its best to attract the entities and companies. Internship is provided by almost all the department and it is provided in the last year. No, I haven't gone to the internship because I'm in 4th year.

The events which are celebrated is the Annual University Meet, UNIFEST (where students are selected to represent the university in the national level), various programmes organised by the NSS Body like Gandhi jayanti, Republic day, Independence day etc. but last not the least Tech Xetra.

The fee structure is 10000-25000 for the undergraduate and postgraduate per semester. And for the Ph.d it is 25000-35000. The fees are feasible, if you compare it with the quality of teaching with other private university.

The scholarship which I know is National Scholarship is provided by the Central Government of India. There are various scholarships for the students in national scholarship portal is given to all the students according to their family income. Loan facility is not required because the fees are very much feasible for all the sections of the society.

The university provides all the sports equipment and organises sports competition throughout the year and also recognizes and motivates them with prizes and trophy. There is also hostel and department sports competition.

The hostel infrastructure is very good but 2 hostel buildings need renovation as it has got old. The facilities of the hostel are well maintained and there is 24*7 security surveillance for the students.

There is vast alumni network of university and various seniors holds good position in different govt. agencies and private companies. The seniors are very much helpful and provides all the necessary information to the junior's and also assists the junior to how to excel in all the activities.

First you have to apply for the program which you as student looking for. Then you have to seat for the entrance examination. For Engineering there is no entrance, you are granted seat on basis of IIT-JEE score. The entrance result is declared after 1 month from the date exam. If you cleared the entrance then you have to go university pay the requisite amount and book the seat in the university.

The faculty are well trained and educated. They way of teaching is something different which you cannot get in the normal colleges because the university is a central university. The facilities are very much friendly and understand the students doubt and queries very well and makes them understand.
