My college

College is fine but as it is newly established there is less greenery in college but they are struggling hard to build it. Our college is very near to beach it has all cool weather and enjoyable climate.

Course curriculum is student friendly which have 6 theory subjects and 2 labs per semester which is easier to study. In exam structure we are having two cycle test in middle of semester which carry 20 marks each for a duration 1.5 hr for each subject and one assignment which carry 10 marks so a total of 50 marks as internal in which we have to secure atleast 20 marks for qualifying to end sem exam which is for 50 mark and duration is three hours. And result is published based on relative grading for a total of 100 marks converted into GPA.

Placement are not as expected as of now as college is newly opened(11 years) and they are working very hard to improve it, the average package is nearly 4lakh annually and this is increasing every year. Yes our college provide internships for students, but I did not join in any internship program so I don’t know about stipend or experience.

In our college annually two fest are celebrated one in odd semester and one in even semester. The odd semester fest is a cultural fest( Le ciel )which last for three days in our college I which students from various universities come and participate in our cultural competition and there will be a pro show on every day of the fest. The even semester fest is a tech fest ( gyanith) in which there will be workshops conducted in our college and various tech competitions and students from various colleges participate and there will be a pro show related to technology on every day.

Fee structure is very much feasible as it is a government undertaking college and run by MHRD. There are three type of fee structures available in our college depending on categories. SC/st/obc,open(income below 1lakh) Institute fee -5000INR Hostel fee - 24000INR OBC/ open (income between 1-5 lakh) Institute fee- 24000INR Hostel fee - 24000INR OBC/open (income above 5lakh) Institute fee -70000INR Hostel fee - 24000INR

College does not provide any scholarships. But we have availed government scholarships like Nsp, FFE in which college has to forward and verify student details. The same is with loan there is a SBI BRANCH setup in my college which give loan to students

Yes college promote students in all extracurricular activities they send students to various competitions among NIT’s and they provide all facilities to students for showing their best. Lab session will be there every week for a 6 hour time on two different subjects 3 hour each.

Senior students are very friendly they help us in every aspect from exam to fest and as hostel is also in same building they help us very nicely. We organise fest together and celebrate all festivals together

By writing an all India toughest exam and secured an all India rank 16543 and went through jossa counselling and attended seat confirmation after paying 35000 and after counselling had finished I have reported in college for final seat allocation then I paid college fees along with that I have submitted all required documents for verification in the reporting centre.

Faculty here is experienced and they have a tight schedule for completing their portion and they work hard to do it. They are qualified and efficient in their teaching, and the best part of teachers is they are friendly with students and motivates us in every aspect academic and non academic.
