It's a good college. Could do better with campusing

With a little more campusings and placement opportunities the students could do a lot better. Since, it's a government college with NBA accreditation, the students deserve a little more attentions from the employers. And with a little help they could all become a good asset to the state and country.

The course curriculum followed in our college is that on B.tech as set by the Tripura University. We have a 60+40 exam criteria for exams. 60 marks being the marks for the end sems exams. 20 marks being the marks for the mid terms and the remaining 20 comes from class tests, assignments, vivas and quizez.

There are not yet any major campusing in our college. And that is one of the demerits of our college. It would do a lot better for the students if we had campusings. As for internship, no there is no internship in the college. However we collaborate with Jadavpur University, Kolkata and send our students for internship over there. It is a great learning experience. And all the seniors I have talked to about this have said it was a great experience and that they got to learn many things in their internship

Feasible fee structure. As it is a government college, the fee is quite low. We only have to pay ~7000 per semester for the degree course. And for the underprivileged, there are also fee exemptions from the government. The handicapped students get to study free of charge in the college. As the college doesn't have its own bus facilities so we have to pay separately to avail bus privilages. There are also multiple scholarships available for the students meeting the criteria to avail it. So, because of the feasible fee structure the students have no difficulties studying.

As the fee structure is very low, even the underprivileged have little or no trouble with the fees As for the scholarships, there are a number of scholarship programs such as NEC, NSP, Ishan-Uday,etc. These are all offered by the government to those deserving. In order for them to have no problem studying the courses in the college

We have new labs constructed in the college and they are all filled with the latest equipments available in the market in order for our students to have a better learning experience. We have an annual cricket tournament in the college called the ADR cup. And other than that there are no more extra curricular activities done in the college.

The alumni network and the senior students put in work to make more placement and campusings available for the students. Yes they are helpful. We have our own training and placement cells which work independently to arrange for opportunities for the junior students in areas of trainings, internships, higher education, etc.

We had an entrance examination and I got admission because of my ranking in the exam. After the entrance exam is over. The results are declared and admission is given according to the ranking in the exam. We have 45 seats for each 5 branches in our college.

The college Faculty try their best to make do with what they are provided with. The best interests of the students are always a priority for them. As far my experience in the college, the faculties have always tried to help the students. Yes, they have been tough and rough at times but it was all for us to follow the rules and guidelines.
