Walchand College is having very calm and healthy environment for students to study. The environment is very clean with many trees like mango, jambul and peacocks etc. Also large facility for parking is available. Ajit Gulabchand Central Library is most attraction of many students in Walchand College.

Course Curriculum is really too good to opt for. The Syallbus is 3 times revised. Every course subject has a unique course code. Every semester technical committee and Dean academics have the meeting regarding improvement in course content.

The placement is really excellent. Many strong big gaints like Microsoft, Amazon, Directi, Thoughtworks which have visited Walchand College within last 2 years. Walchand College provides internship opportunities in industries like Siemens, Thoughtworks and all. Experience is really good to have for internships. Stipend is also good.

Many nantional level events are held in Walchand college. Vision is most important college event held in Walchand. Many student clubs are active in Walchand College. WCE ACM is one of them. WCE Hackathon is very high level technical event arranged by ACM students Association. Hackathon have big prizes from 10000 to 50000 wherein student teams have to build product like websites or android apps for given problem statement.

Feasible. Walchand college is Government Aided Autonomous Institute having tution fees around 15000 only. Fee structure is very clear for students as college provides details for each and every fee component.

College provides various scholarships for students like Freeship scholarship, EBC Scholarship, Central sector scholarship. Also industries like Siemens, Cummins provides scholarship for students. For that they take entrance test and interviews.

Sport facility is available in large scale. Our college have sport facility for basketball, cricket, Badminton, Volley ball. Our college has big ground and track having diameter 700 m. Labs in computer science department are well infrastructured with required equipments like computers, routers etc all. Other departments also have well furnished labs.

Hostel is awesome. Every year students have separate hostel building means for First year, second year till last year, diploma students have separate building for hostel. Water facility is good. There is common central facility in hostel and separate small water filters for each hostel building.

Senior students and junior students interact with each other in students' clubs associations like WCE ACM as described earlier. Alumni also visits college during Alumni meet arranged in college. Also many alumni provides funding for various events held in Walchand college.

I got admission in Walchand College through CET Entrance Exam. There were 4 cap rounds. During 1 to 3 Cap rounds, there were 3 options for seat allocation by Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra which are Freeze(Fix the seat) , float(Opt for colleges which are above in option list of colleges) and slide( Opt for trade change within same college).

Faculty is very interactive and responsive. There are teachers from young one to old. The Senior faculty usually take workshops and meeting to discuss with young ones to make them more strong in teaching field.
