LIT have huge potential to grow with good vision and management college can compete with ICT Mumbai and HBTI but it will take time and great will for students it is good opportunity to enter in to core sector if you are interested.

I applied in LIT through SEEE, which was conducted be DTE in Maharashtra I scored 151 and got admission in LIT via open category in 1st round.

Course curriculum was very extensive and autonomous though we did not cover advance and latest technology but we learned basics in detail when I was working in industry I came to realize that these basics will actually makes difference because new advancements are based on these basics only.

I interned in Indian oil corporation gujarat refinery it was awesome experience, I started liking my field in real sense from my internship no stipend was offered.

Placements were good, I got placed in 1st company itself best part is that you will get only core companies here, 2 types of companies Engineering and manufacturing Many companies in both sector visit campus in my batch around 33 companies came for such small batch size.

LIT lags in this sector, extra and co curriculum activities are not good in LIT very few technical and cultural events are organised here ganesh festival and Annual fest are only two big events no outside events applicable as field is not common with other colleges.

Fee is very less as compare to other government and private colleges category students will get full fee refund, even some open students also may get tuition fee waiver.

Yes it is offered to category students with full fee waiver few open category students will also get tuition fee waiver with EBT criteria.

Campus live is better as compared to private colleges in region but worst as compared to NITs sports facilities are not sufficient, Labs were old but renovated now. Compositions can be attended outside only.

Hostel was in very bad shape at my time, but i have heard it is renovated now location of old hostel is awesome where you can see whole city from top mess was not good.

Alumi network comes in to play in placements, as it is very old college, it has huge alum base i was part of 2 silver jubilee get together but networking is poor, LITAA is working on it and hope it will work very fine soon.

Exam is under nagpur university but exam curriculum and exam is set in college only, as it is only chemical engineering college in Nagpur University it is as good as autonomous college.

Few professors were very good while there was other side to important subjects were taught in such a way that i will never forget,while few subjects were taught in such a way that i don't remember anything now, not even faculty name heard that many of the
